~Hayes P.O.V~
I woke up to Nash hovering over me. "Nash what do you want" I say rubbing my eyes.
"Who's this for." He says holding the box. "Nash its for my crush" I snatched the box and got up. Today was a Friday so there wasn't much to do but go to school. I went and took a shower. I got out and dried my hair. I grabed shorts underwear and t-shirt and socks. I get dressed put my shoes on and grabbed my bag. I grabed the box and went to Taylor's house. I put the box down and knocked. I could tell that Tay was gone he has work in the morning.
"Whos there." I just walked away towards school. Like i do everyday. I turn around just to get a glance but she never came out.
~Karlin's P.O.V~
*Knock Knock*
I walk to the door. "Who is it?" No one answerd. I look out the window to see hayes walking down the street. I smiled but then my smile faded. "I wish i would be able to talk to him about it. I didnt mean to hurt him" I say to myself. I go and sit on the couch. Not even 5 minutes later my phone rings.
"Hello" i ask
"Hello is this Karlin"
"Yes and whos this"
"This is Luke Hemmings im hoping to hear you sing tonight with us."
Wait. Luke Hemmings am i dreaming.
"Wait what."...
*Wakes up*
I stretch my arms and yawn. I get up and turn off the tv. "God damn i need to check the mail." I grab a pair of Tay's shoes and walk outside. I look down and see a box. I pick it up and bring it inside. I put on the table and go and shut the door.
I come back and open the box. I see a beautiful red rose. A tear comes to my eyes. I pick up the note and read it.
"Dear Karlin:
Im sorry about your birthday. But I know I didnt get you anything so I bought you a rose the best one the place had. I just want to say you look fantastic even though you have no idea who I am. Im not a creep just for your info. I just want to say. That I may be somone close

I thought for a second "Someone close" hmmmm maybe from Aaron. No. How about Jack. Hmm idk but who. I will found out soon. I take the note and put it in a box my mom gave me before she died. I have the first one in there. I put the flower in a vase and put it by my bed. I lay down and look at the ceiling and think about what hayse said. I felt a tear run down my face. I wiped it away and closed my eyes. I just wanted to know why
~Hayes P.O.V~
I walk into school wishing Karlin was here. I didnt see Hannah.
"Ooh poor little Hayes dosnt have a body guard." I hear Tanner say. I brush it off and keep walking. "Ooh hayes bad idea you should never ignore me." Tanner grabed my shoulder and spune around to face him. I wasnt in the mood to deal with his bullshit so i toughened up and decided to get this over with.
"You know what Tanner leave me alone your not tough just because your bulling a small child who is probably tougher then you but likes somone they dont want to loose so let me go." I say regarding my idea. Tanner laughes and punches me in the face then the stomach. He keeps punching untill i weakly tell him to stop he drops me on the floor and keeps kicking me. I close my eyes and wish i was dead.
"Stop it Tanner like enough. He hasnt done anything to you. Everyone leave now your all pathetic losers i hope you all fail at life and are bums on the side of the road. Your losers of life." I hear Hannah say before i black out.
