Broken Summary

Okay, for everyone that is just tuning in! Here's an summary of what happened in 'Broken'. I know some of you don't feel like reading it, so I wrote this so you won't be confused. If you've already read 'Broken', then either read this to refresh your memory, or move ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER! Enjoy! (:

Mikayla and her best friend Ana graduate from Uni. Mikayla makes her older brother Michael promise to be there. He tells her that he won't miss it. Mikayla is valedictorian because she is freaking brilliant. She is graduating at the age of 20 instead of 22 because of how smart she is. Mikayla realizes that her brother never showed up and is now pissed at him. After the graduation, they party at a bar where they get very drunk and bump into Niall and Louis. Seeing how drunk they are, the boys decide to take them home so no harm will come to them. Later than night, Mikayla finds out that her brother has been killed in a car accident rushing to make it to her graduation, and from then on, blames herself. She refuses to speak to her parents and goes into a depression for 2 months. Ana tries to get her out of the house. Leaving her alone for a second, Mikayla jumps in front of the nearest car to end her life. That car happens to be Louis's. She is put on suicide watch for 48 hours, and Paul makes Louis watch her. After her 48 hours are up, they start spending more time together. Eventually Louis gives in to temptation and kisses her. Couple of days later, he tells her that they can't be together because he isn't the type of guy for her. She needs someone who can help her out of her depression, and he can't do that. After a little persistence, they try out a relationship. She tells him that her previous relationship didn't work out because her ex, Cam, cheated on her with her best friend, Ana. Ana, who is now dating Zayn, doesn't know that until Louis tells her the truth. Her parents stop by to try to get her to talk to them. She agrees on dinner with them, where Louis discovers that not only are her parents filthy rich, but Mikayla is adopted, which Ana still doesn't know about. Her father never accepted her. After comforting her, Harry lets it slip that Louis is big on committment. This scares her, and Mikayla accidentally confesses that she loves Louis, where he reciprocates. Louis also tries to help her get rid of her fear of cars, but has no luck. Mikayla has another meltdown which results in her trying to kill herself again. Louis wonders why he isn't enough for her to live and breaks up with her. After going to MSG without her, he bumps into Eleanor who tells him to be with Mikayla. When they return to the UK, he sees her and they agree to be friends. Mikayla eventually gets better after going to a support group and reconciling with her parents. She accepts her brother's death and is now able to drive in cars. She even interviews for a job at a huge company. Her therapist tells her that Louis is the reason why she isn't fully better. Later, she takes this back, and Louis and Mikayla reconcile. After visiting her brother's grave one last time, she agrees to move in with Louis. While they are moving things out of her apartment, she returns a call from the man that interviewed her. She tells Louis the good news and then drops the bomb. To fully accept the job, she has to move the US....away from him.
