"Sleep, my knight....You did it...I’m safe. You can rest in peace..." The soft words resonated through out the imagination, soft comforts mixing with the heavy breaths of the fallen soldier.
"B-but.." A cough erupted from the knight's throat, the man's voice was horse and scratchy compared to the one that had came before it.
"No, my dear knight...your duty has been for-filled..." The soft voice met the soldier's ears again as tears pricked at both of the people's eyes. The soldier who lay wounded on the battle field, covered in dirt and blood, eyes fell shut and he's breathing stopped.
The soft voiced male fell into tears, the body of his protector, his knight, his Roman. He lay lifeless next to the dead Mantacore-chimera. Janus four extra arms appeared, the first set picking up his prince, the second grabbing that sword, the last getting rid of the Mantacore-chimera. Sobs rack through Janus as he held his Prince to his chest, walking way from the battle field. The scene around him faded and the prince's body crumpled and disintegrated. Janus whimpered and tried to cluch to the fading form.
Not even a hour after, Roman was replaced and no one cared,except Janus. He had lost his knight and the grief was just two emence.
"Why are you sad? You hated my brother."
"Remus..."The snake-like side stared into the darker creativity's eyes,"I loved him..
