Leo was waking up when he heard some bitchy voices. They were talking loudly and it woke him up. Instead of telling them off, he decided to listen to them.

They were talking about how they can set up something for Merida. Lisa, that one girl Merida thinks she befriended happened to misinform her about the game schedule. How funny of Merida making reasons for Lisa.

Leo sighed heavily.

"God? Are you trying to get me involved with miss ugly?" he asked, shaking his head.

When the voices were gone, Leo stood up and started to walk away. He went inside the staff's room and head to their adviser's desk. The teachers were gone already and so he checked the class records. Leo searched for Merida's information and boom! He copied her number.

"Alright then," he said as he typed the contact name 'egg rolls' instead of miss ugly. After doing his business, Leo went out of the staff room like he didn't just scribble through some pages.

"What were you doing in there?"

He turned to see who it was.

"What do you think?" he asked back with that wide smile on his face.

The lady who just saw him didn't answer and so he turned his back and continued to walk away. It was his sister. Though they don't have the same last name anymore, they still used to live in the same mansion.

"Good to see you again," he whispered as he leave the school grounds.

Somewhere in the road, Leo pulled over. He went out of his car and looked at the sunset. They say that a sunset resembles someone letting go. And when you tell the person the sunset's beautiful, you're saying, "I love you but I'm letting you go" kind of vibe. One day, I might tell it to someone, he thought.

Leo watches as the sun sets freely. He hates the sun setting as it doesn't wait for anyone. When it fades, he feels like all the hope he has slipped off as well.

It's time. He took his phone from his pocket and dialed Merida's number. When it rang, he brought his phone closer to his ear.

"Hello?" Merida answers.

He wasn't expecting her to answer.

"Hey! It's Leo. The game is at 5 pm tomorrow not 7:15," he said.

"Uh... did you just call me for that?"

"Yeah? What else would I call you for?"

"Alright. Should I add you to my—"

"Are you crazy? Of course, you should!" he yells. "And give me a good nickname! Not just Leo!"

"Geez! You didn't have to yell and how did you—"

"Goodnight," he said and hung up. He lowered his phone, tossing his head back. "I should have said something better."

The gameday came and just when Leo was entering the gymnasium, he heard Lisa and Candice arguing. It made him smirk as he continues ahead.

Leo knew miss ugly was going to be there so his gaze searched for her. It wasn't hard to do so when the damn Jacob yelled for her name. It caught their attention, It caught his attention. He doesn't like their sweetness. He couldn't understand what was bitterness but now he does.

He was one of the basketball players in their school but he refused to practice with the others. That's why he becomes an outcast and when things heated up between him and Jacob, he had to go. So whenever there's a game, all he does is watch. But this time it was different. It wasn't the game he's watching, it was miss ugly.
