I closed the door behind me, my shoulders starting to relax but my mind still processing what just happened. We looked everywhere for him-- I did most of the searching but who would've thought the moment I stop, I would see him again?

"Are you alright, sis?" Keifer asked, making me raise my head. I immediately plastered a smile and push myself off the door.

"Yeah! Perfect! I was at the wrong floor, my mind is everywhere!"

"You don't seem ... okay to me."

I let out an awkward chuckle and stride close to my brother's side. It was hard to calm down when you've seen the flesh of someone who you thought was a ghost now.

"I'm okay," I softly uttered. "I should be asking you that though! You're the patient!"

Keifer giggled, eating his peeled orange while watching some kind of series on the TV. His fever kept coming back so we needed to admit him and have him check. Though not so common, he has dengue and needed more fluid than he can take. So far, he is doing good.

While my brother was entertained, I pulled my phone out from my pocket. My fingers made their way to Merida and mine's conversation. My thumb started pressing letters. I was to hit send but my mind black out and decided to turn off my phone, putting it at the side table while I sighed heavily.

Don't be so selfish, Lisa!

The next day when I visited Keifer, my eyes widened to see Leo seated on the side of my brother's bed. How on earth did he... Both of them shifted their gazes at me, their glowing face was the opposite of mine.

"Ah... the witch has returned," Leo said, grinning at me.

"You didn't tell me Leo was here!" Keifer exclaimed with his grumpy face. "It's been so so long since I last saw mister cheesecake."

Oh my stinking brother turning against me again. I breath in and slowly walk towards them both. "Well, I never knew he was here. I got lost yesterday and so I bumped into him."

"Oh! That's why you looked so--" before my brother could say anything, I covered his mouth and before I knew it, Leo's eyes were fixed on mine. Those damn eyes that makes me red all over my face. I really hated that.

"Watchu lookin' at?" I glared, letting go of my brother. A corner of his mouth just curved up. "I was shock to see you, okay! It's like seeing a ghost."

"Fair enough." Leo shrugged, shifted his gaze to Keifer. "She went running and I thought I did something weird. She was never the type to run away."

"Well, I thought I saw a ghost! Plus we are in the hospital!"

"A witch who's afraid of lingering souls?"

Both of them boys laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm no witch!"

While they catch up together, I seated at the sofa watching whatever show it is on the screen. Leo was also laying down on Keifer's bed and my brother was enjoying Leo's company. How come he came back like nothing happened? He also acts as if he didn't just gone missing for almost two damn years.

I was imagining him being on all different places, like abroad and travelling this world but why is he in this hospital? He doesn't look sick but he probably lost a little weight. Where the hell were you?

"You didn't tell them, did you?"

I raised my head when I heard his voice. He wasn't looking at me but I know that's meant for me.
