AUTHOR'S POV

Sunoo woke up when he heard his alarm go off. He turned it off and tried to sleep a little bit more.

After 10 minutes of laying on his bed doing nothing he decided to go tell his grandma that he didn't want to go to school.

He stood up and noticed that SunHee wasn't in the bed at the other side of the room. He shrugged thinking that she might be in the living room. He didn't want to face her because of what happened last night.

He saw his grandma making breakfast in the kitchen.
"Good morning grandma" he said and rubbed his eyes.
"Good morning" she said and kissed his cheek.
"Where is SunHee?" He asked.
"Oh she left early in the morning but she didn't tell me why" she said and took a plate.

Sunoo was really curious now.
"Grandma can I skip school today?" He asked hoping she allows him to not go.
"May I know why, young man?" She asked him and flicked his forehead.
"I just want to take a break. Just for today please?" He said and his grandmother sighed.
"Fine, but only for today." She said and Sunoo jumped from happiness.
"Thank you grandma!" He said and kissed her cheek.
Then they sat down and started eating.

"Sunoo" his grandmother said suddenly and scared him.
"What?" He asked curiously.
"I heard your conversation with SunHee yesterday" she said and looked down.
Sunoo choked on his food and it took him some minutes to come back to normal (what).
"W-what?" He widened his eyes.
He was so shocked.
How did his grandma hear their conversation?
Did she eavesdrop?
No, she would never do that.
"I'm so sorry. I was going to the kitchen to get some water and heard some voices so that's why I approached your bedroom door. I thought you were calling for me" she confessed.
Sunoo didn't say anything. He stood up and immediately left the house.
As soon as he got out he dialed SunHee's number but no one answered.
"Where is she?" He said and hit his head with his phone multiple times.
"SCHOOL!" He started running towards the school hoping that he can find her there.

No one saw him since everyone was in class. He ran around the school and even managed to sneak in the class she had the first period but she was nowhere to be found.

"Where is she?" He thought to himself as he was tired of running around trying to find the girl he wants to apologise to.

Apologise for their conversation the previous day.
Apologise for everything he's done.

"Is she at that hill again?" He asked himself.

Wonder what that hill is?
That's where SunHee's parents were buried. There was a big tree on the top of the hill and they were buried there. SunHee used to go there whenever she felt sad or needed some peace.

Sunoo ran towards the nearest bus station and hopped on the bus. The bus stopped outside the covenience store which was near the hill. Just a few meters away.

Sunoo went into the convenience store and bought some sodas and water bottles so he can share them with SunHee.

He started making his way to the hill.

20 minutes later

He had finally arrived and there she was.
Sunoo appriached her but she didn't seem to notice his appearance.
"Hey" he said and sat on the grass.
She didn't look at him and kept staring at the sky.
Sunoo looked at her and waved his hand in front of her face.
Maybe she is mad.
"Look, I'm sorry..." he said and lowered his head.
"If you don't want to talk to me I can lea-" he was gojng to stand up but her voice stopped him.
"Do you have a crush on Mi Young?" She asked.
He froze on the spot.
"W-what do you m-mean?" He asked and sat back down, his hands shaking.
"It's quite obvious" she said. She refused to look at him.
"W-what?" He said and she remained quiet for a couple of seconds.
"You have been sleep-talking and calling her name" she scoffed.
Sunoo remained silent.

Minutes full of silence had passed until Sunoo broke the silence opnening a can of cola.

"I'm sorry..." he said
