In advance: please keep in mind that this is an imaginary story. I had to choose tennis players, who were randomly chosen. Obviously, they never did this!

Imagine that you were all at the beginning of your careers and young, only just making your way into the professional tennis life.

It was a rough day and they had to make a decision. There was no time to wait, but somehow no one dared to speak up. No one dared to speak their minds. Pablo, who usually had to say something about literally everything, now sat on his seat around the table staring into the sky. Garbine, who usually wanted to be right about everything and wanted to speak the lasts words, was anxiously typing on her phone probably checking when she had to train this week.

Paula, who usually always needed to interrupt in conversations now felt more awkward then ever and kept staring at her boyfriend Nick, who didn't know what to do either. Across the table, Matteo sat who usually didn't speak unless it had something to benefit him. He didn't even like this group in the first place, but he had to admit that they all were good tennis players and helped each other get further in their careers. They took it too far this time. No one knew what to do, what to say or how to make the damage they just made go away. Matteo had nothing to do with the situation and felt no remorse, all he wanted to do was leave.

''So how are you guys going to fix this? Praise the lord I wasn't on the academy when this happened,'' Matteo dared to speak while crossing his arms. He didn't agree with what they did and right now he hated the fact that they were even his friends or, I suppose, his training friends. ''Well, why are you here then? Don't you have something better to do?'' Nick answered. Matteo looked over to him for a second, wondering if it was worthy to go into a discussion with Nick.

''I'm here because this thing that you all did,'' Matteo looked at his friends with a little bit of disgust, ''actually is about one of my friends. Y/n is my friend and when she finds out what you guys did, she'll hate all of you or maybe even turn in the mastermind behind all of this,'' Matteo replied while looking at Garbine. Garbine stopped typing and closed her phone while letting out a big sigh.

''It wasn't meant to go this far. We wanted her to teach a lesson, who the best player is here. She keeps getting in my way and she needs to know that that's unacceptable. She took it too far that one time,'' Garbine replied and she looked at Matteo. ''What did she do again?'' Matteo asked, he could really use a refresher. While being away in Rome for a quick tennis break to spend with his family and friends, he tried to leave the drama behind him. ''She flirted with Pablo while I was with him. She took advantage of Pablo because Pablo was drunk when it happened and she knew damn well that I was seeing him,'' Garbine answered. ''Not to even mention the fact that it was on the party that Rafael threw for me, because I won my first ATP title.''

Matteo looked over to Pablo who didn't look at either of them. ''Were you?'' Matteo asked Pablo, Garbine now looked at him too. Matteo then looked at Garbine again, ''then again, what is wrong with flirting? She didn't kiss him now did she?'' he answered. Nick nodded, ''I've said that from the beginning. She hasn't done anything wrong'' he said.

''Now I don't recall speaking to you,'' Matteo said while he looked at Nick again, ''but thanks. At least you've got normal brains'' Matteo angrily said. ''She wanted to sleep with me, I could feel it in every way possible. If I was just a tiny more bit drunk, I've could've fallen for it,'' Pablo admitted. Matteo shake his head, did he really just hear what he heard?

''She's a virgin. She doesn't want to sleep with any man before she marries, she's told me that several times. What is this? Kinder garden?'' Matteo said in disbelief. ''And for that, just a little bit of flirting you decided to tell Rafael Nadal that she used doping? And got a test that's positive on the black market? And now she isn't accepted into the Rafael Nadal Academy which has been her dream for so many years? This is the one thing that could lift her tennis career into the next stage'' he said in disbelief.
