have fun reading c:

He was so happy with you, so wholesome. And you were happy with him, he was your best friend and your lover in one. He meant the world to you, he treated you right, the way you wanted to be treated. After abusive relationships in the past he was an eyeopener, he showed you how being in love felt. How it felt to have a partner in crime, a lover in a best friend.

''I love you,'' you whispered at him when he was about to leave your place. He looked at you with puppy eyes, ''I love you too, I don't want to leave at all,'' Dominic shrugged. You giggled; you didn't want him to leave either, but he had to train. ''If it was up to me, and not to my coach, I'd be here in bed with you cuddling all day long'' he smiled and he dropped his bag, pulling you in for another hug.

You wrapped your arms around his body, snuggled your face into his chest and sighed deeply. He was the best thing that ever happened to you, the absolute best. ''Babe,'' Dominic said as the hug ended, ''I promise that I'm going to tell my friends and everyone soon that we're dating'' he said as he planted another kiss on your forehead. ''It's just that you know, I'm scared that going out in public together will be so much harder when we go public, the media will seriously try to destroy what we have'' Dominic said as he picked up his gear.

''I know, but we know better right Domi? What we have between us is bigger than what the media wants everyone to believe, we know the truth,'' you answered. You were so proud to be his girlfriend, and if it were up to you everyone would know about it already. But he didn't feel comfortable yet and you respected that decision. He nodded, ''but won't you get scared that they will get you?'' Dominic asked once he got back up. You raised your eyebrows, ''get me?'' you answered in confusion.

''Yeah like okay, imagine us dating for three months in public right,'' he looked at you and you nodded, ''okay so you read in the media that I've been hanging out with Kiki outside of our trainings together and multiple sources claim they've spotted us holding hands, won't you be sad? Mad? Angry?'' Dominic said.

For a moment you thought about it, of course you wouldn't be feeling all super great about that, but in no way, you'd attack him for that. ''I'd call you about it or wait till you get home. I'd never believe any tabloids or any sources over you'' you answered. He smiled and you had a slight feeling that even though he smiled, it didn't seal the deal for him.

''Yeah, well we'll see about that when it actually happens,'' Dominic answered and just when he was about to kiss you goodbye, his phone rung. ''I guess I really need to get going,'' Dominic said, and he quickly kissed you goodbye. ''Domi! Wait,'' you screamed when he was running away towards the elevator. He turned around and looked at you.

''Will you come to dinner tomorrow with my parents?'' you asked him, he nodded and with that he stepped into the elevator screaming, ''yeah sounds fun! Love you!''

With Dominic you felt safe. And you loved him really much and it hurt you that he wasn't comfortable enough to tell it to the world that he was no longer single. When you were alone at nights, the sad thoughts took over and you began wondering if you were enough for him. Were you pretty enough? Was he ashamed of you? While the most of you was smart and immediately said no to those questions, a little part of you couldn't help but wonder what the true reasons between him not willing to tell it to the world yet.
