Today I felt much better after sleeping like I was Rip Van Winkle and taking the prescribed meds. I just wish some nasty things would go away and not bother me. When I woke up, I felt refreshed and a little surprised by James serving me breakfast in bed. Our sons joined us while we ate.

"Where is Sam and Gayle this morning?" I asked while I ate some eggs and bagel.

"Uh, Gayle's downstairs while Sam is out at our gym. He needs to stay in shape. Also, I think he's planning on leaving today. His wife called earlier and said to please come home. Guess she's getting tired of having Sarah there." James said as he ate his breakfast. "Oh the bagels are from Gayle. She thought we would like these." He added.

"They're good and fresh. The bagel alone would be plenty for me! I'm not going to be hungry later!" I said in between bites.

"Yeah, they're big. A little too yeasty for me. I'm not used to earing these." He said as he ate part of his. "Now I remember why we don't eat these. We don't like the taste. I forgot the other reason why we don't eat these." He continued.

"Probably because they're very filling and too bready." I said trying to eat a part of mine.

"Do you want to try a bite, you two?" James asked as Grant and Bailey watched us eat. They were eating fruit.

"I would like to try a bite." Grant said while Bailey shook his head no. He tried it earlier with Gayle and didn't like it.

"OK, here you go." James said and gave Grant a small slice of his bagel. Grant took the slice, sniffed it and ate his bite size bagel. At first he made a face because of the taste then he asked if he can have something else. We said he can go back to his fruit and did so with glee.

"Uh, what do you think of what we should do today?" James asked and turned to me.

"I think we should ask Gayle and Sam. They may have ideas. I do have a few though but I want you to decide or plan on what we're going to do. remember I'm the one who needs to relax and try to stay stress free. I don't want what happened yesterday to be repeat today." I explained.

"Right! I'm in the driver's seat now." He said while eating. Soon he got fed up eating the bagel and threw it in the trash. "I hope Gayle didn't get a lot of these. I'm done eating that horrible thing!" He said with frustration. James soon turned to Grant and asked him if he liked the bagel.

"No. Tastes nasty!" Grant said with a scrunched up face and stuck his tongue out. We laughed.

"I didn't like mine too!" Bailey said.

"OK, we need to tell Gayle to please stop bringing bagels. I think she doesn't know our aversion to the taste of bagels." James said as I ate my eggs.

"May we go?" Grant asked.

"Yes, just please stay up here while we finish our breakfast." James said.

"OK, we'll be right out there." Grant said and pointed to the closed door, meaning they're going to the landing.

"Great! We'll be done soon so don't wander off." James said.

"Sure thing!" Grant said as James helped them off the bed. Once our sons were out of the room, it was just the two of us.

"Now it's just the two of us, are you feeling better after having breakfast?" James asked.

"Much. Especially with just our family. It's not the same when Gayle and Sam are with us." I tried to explain how I was feeling.

"I know what you mean. Our 'bubble' so to speak is just perfect as is." James simply said, understanding where I'm coming from.

"It's going to be different when our baby comes along." I said thoughtfully.
