In the morning, I was feeling very good for a change. I was eating breakfast with my sons while James was asleep. He wanted more sleep this morning. Gayle did not make breakfast for us this time. We have plenty of food here, so we managed very well for breakfast.

"How often does he do this?" Gayle asked.

"Every once in a while. When something like yesterday happens he tends to do that the next day." I explained.

"Sounds about right. In my training and learning about patients with PTSD sometimes they want to sleep it off or get all quiet for privacy. Also they want solace. Being alone helps them in some way. I suppose James's doctor knows all about this and also trying to treat James for his current state." Gayle explained as she drank coffee.

"Yeah, he has doctor visits every month. He used to go once a week until his doctor was comfortable with James coming once or twice a month." I described.

"Typical for patients like him to see their doctors often." She said.

"The last time he saw his physician was last month around the time I saw my OBGYN. He will need to see his doctor soon." I said.

"I hope they have his condition under control."

"Yes they have. He now knows what to do when one arrives. He usually tells me and tries his best to excuse himself from any embarrassing situations in public. Also, I help him if he needs that from me, which is a good thing." I said in detail to her.

"Yesterday is a good example of that. I can tell he's learning how to control it and trying his best." Gayle say in contemplation. "I'm sure he's been doing this for a good while." She added.

"He's been doing this since we first met. So It's been a good while. I've learned what to do when this happens and gives him space when he needs it. Yesterday evening and this morning are a good examples of that. Our sons know nothing about their daddy's episodes. We want to keep it that way until they're older so they can understand." I explained to her. Gayle continued drinking her coffee. The smell was a little rank for me, made me a little nauseous. She looked at me kind of funny.

"I take it you don't like the smell of coffee." She said.

"In general, I do not but the smell is making me nauseous today. This has been happening since I got pregnant. It's a first for me. I think I told you about that." I said as I drank water and ate fruit along with my eggs.

"Yes you did! I forgot about that! How bad is it today?" Gayle asked.

"It's not too bad since I ate food and have special medicine for morning sickness. My doctor says my symptom will end soon so I will no longer be taking it by the end of the month." I explained.

"That's good! Guess I have something to look forward to when I have my first baby, morning sickness!" Gayle said, laughing.

"From what I've learned it's different for every woman when they're pregnant. You may be one of the lucky ones!" I said as I ate my eggs. She laughed when she heard that.

"When do you want to go for lunch?" Gayle asked, laughing some.

"Uh, I'd say sometime around eleven for an early lunch. Today's Thursday and it's a perfect day to head that way. Friday is normally a busy day for being near downtown. Everyone always wanting to treat themselves to lunch and go shopping. You know, those that work in the city." I said, describing what it's like there on a Friday.

"Ah, I see! I remember those days! I'll be doing that soon when I get back. Are you going back to work sometime?" Gayle asked.

"Having more babies and trying to raise very young children, I think getting back into the workforce will have to wait! I admit I like not working though." I revealed to her.
