"Let Me Tell You A Story"

Let me tell you story about a boy and girl....

Scott and Zoe –

There were nine moments when Scott saw Zoe for the first time as Zoe Klein. Nine moments in three months, that's all it took for Zoe and Scott to try and find that one connection they both wanted. They found the one connection that everyone wanted for them before they were messed up.

The first look:

The first time that Scott saw Zoe after everything happened was at her house. Zoe was reading by her willow tree in the backyard and he was in the house, starring down at her from Elijah's office window. A smile grew on his face as he watched Frank Klein bought his daughter a glass of lemonade and took a seat next to her.

"Scott?" Elijah called out making the boy look back at him. "Sorry," Scott admitted as he walked away from the window, "I just didn't think it would seem this simple." Elijah hummed as he walked Scott back over to the window, "Seeing her? Or seeing her happy?"

"Both?" The alpha responded, "I guess I just thought she would be trying this whole time to get Stiles back." Elijah hummed as he stared down at his niece. A smile grew on his face as he watched her change the color of the leaves on the willow tree.

"Go talk to her. WE can be done for the day, Mr. McCall. I can only teach you so much before you become distracted." Elijah said guiding Scott out of his office. Scott nodded as he walked through Klein household and ended up staring at Zoe through the back door. He quickly walked out of the house and through the backyard only to stop.

"Don't make me do a spell, Scott." Zoe whispered to him with a smirk on his face, "I know plenty that can make you walk over to me." Scott laughed as he joined Zoe taking a seat next to her, "You act like I don't like you."

"You've been so busy with my uncle, you act like I don't exist." Zoe tells him with a smile, "Why do all my friends like my family better than me?" Scott watches as Zoe laughs looking up to the sky. He can't believe that it's been only a few days since everything changed between them.

Maybe it was just Scott but he felt his heart get light when Zoe told Scott officially that her and Stiles were done. He was sad when she was sad but when he got home his mom had to make sure that he was okay because a smile wouldn't leave his face all day.

"You-"

"Scott!"

Both Scott and Zoe look back to see Dexter waving him back in the house. "Go, and do your boy thing. I promised Hope I would call her anyway." Zoe said standing up with the help of Scott. She linked her arms through Scott as the two walked into the house in silence, "Have fun boys." She told both Scott and Dexter before walking away.

The first sign of being there:

The next time Scott saw Zoe was completely by accident. He was training with Frank Klein and Elijah Mikaelson alone at their house all three knowing that everyone would be out of the house.

"Again Scott." Frank said causing Scott to nod before the two ran at each other and Frank easily flipping Scott making the teenage boy land on his back. "What did you do wrong?" Frank asked him walking over helping him up. "I don't know." Scott answered honestly brushing himself off.

"Nothing." Frank said chuckling, "I'm just stronger." Scott nodded with a laugh but the two were quickly silenced once the door opening and closing was heard. "I can't believe you did that." Zoe yelled storming in the house.

"I'm not the one who caused a scene." Klaus yelled back. "I didn't cause a scene. I just was cut off guard! Who invites their nieces ex-boyfriend to lunch with your niece?" Zoe asks Klaus, "Like seriously, I get it, okay? You're friends. We're friends. But that's still my ex-boyfriend Klaus and I'm still your family."
