"Why can't you hold onto this?"
Zoe sighs as she slips the moonstone ring – her engagement ring- off her finger. She softly places in in her uncle's hand as she stares at it with a smile. "You know I can't Klaus." She whispers, "I can't torture Scott like that."
"But it's not about him." Klaus tells her placing the ring in the box, "It's about you and Stiles." Zoe shakes her head as she glances up at him, "I know. But until we can find a way to bring Stiles home, I can't do that to him. Not to us. He has our while life planned out and I'm just his perfect little soulmate in those plans."
"But you want to be more?"
Zoe nodded as she pursed her lips. For a moment she sat back and though about what she wanted. Years ago, if you asked her she would've accepted being the trophy wife of a man who would love her and treat her well. She would uphold the promise to never hurt or leave her children like her parents did to her and her brother. She would be her own person, but she would never ruin her new name.
But now, now in the life of Zoe Klein – Zoe Mikaelson, the Aetherwitch, the only one turned and the second one to survive Azi, she had a new title. She was someone who wanted to fight for herself. She wanted to make a stand and not be pushed to the side and if it was up to her, she would be the one protecting the pack and her family.
The problem is that between her and Scott, they may but heads and fight, but Scott always backed down to early.
"My future is planned out and if I continue wearing that ring, I'll ruin it." Zoe admitted. "Now why would that be so bad? Don't you want to be happy?" Klaus asked her.
"If I'm happy that will be a miracle. What I want, what I truly want is for him to come home."

The Klein twins and Scott all stood in the Sheriff's office as he slammed the door shut. "All right. You heard a voice coming through the radio, and now you're convinced that it's the voice of..." Stilinski trailed off.
"Stiles. Your son." Dexter said to him. "Uh-huh. And maybe it's just a random signal cross?" Stilinski asked him. Zoe and Dexter both turned to look at Scott as he sighed and slammed the keys to the Jeep on the desk.
