"Zo? I'm back! Zoe?"
"Are you sure she's here?" Dexter nods back to Noah Stilinski, "She wouldn't leave while I'm gone. We go to Lydia Martin's house together or we don't go at all." Stilinski sighs and shuts the door behind him as he watches a twelve-year old Dexter Klein run around the house.
"Dexter!" He calls out once the boy disappears from his sight. "These twins are going to give me a headache." He mutters to himself. "I'm ordering you two dinner, okay?" He calls up but no answer.
"Zoe!" Dexter yells opening up the back door to see Zoe sitting by herself, reading Alice In Wonderland. "What are you doing out here?" Dexter asks leaving the back door cracked. Zoe shrugs as she turns the page, "It got to quiet inside the house. We should really think about getting an animal. How was your therapy?"
Dexter jumps over the couch taking a seat next to her, "Oh you know the usual. Why are you angry Dexter? Who made you angry? Are you angry at your parents or are you angry at yourself? Usual bullshit."
"You know that the doctors recommended it just to help you." Zoe shut her book turning to face her brother. "Look, even Sheriff Stilinski offered to pick you up from school and drive you himself. People care about us."
"Kids? Pizza or Chinese for dinner?" Stilinski opens the back door to see both twins sitting there. "Chinese." They both answer causing him to nod and walk away.
"I can't wait to get out of this town. I can't wait till we get to finally live our own lives with nobody staring us down and judging us because of who we are." Dexter mutters. Zoe moves over and leans her head on Dexter's shoulders, "One day we're going to be two different people. But I'll tell you something, no matter where we are, who we are or what we're doing, I'll always take your side."
"Even if I kill someone? Someone like a boyfriend of yours I don't like?" Dexter asks causing Zoe to laugh, "Even if you kill someone." She states. "I promise you too, Zoe. It's us against the world."
