"Raelyn dropped off your makeup and a dress for you at my house I believe-" "A dress? Is she serious? I hate dresses!" Frank lets out a chuckle. "A lot is going to happen tonight. You should look your best." I turn my gaze from the window over to him and shoot him a death glare. He glances over at me and quickly looks back at the road. "Not that you don't always look your best. Hey wanna stop for some coffee?" I couldn't help but smirk. I guess my eyes just have that affect on people. "Sure. I could use a pick me up." I could see Frank was concerned but he kept his mouth shut. I don't know if I can tell him at all. Or even Raelyn. What if they don't believe me? All that is in the back of my mind right now. All I'm worried about is how I'm going to hide all the hickies and bruises if I'm wearing a dress. I hope Raelyn brought all my makeup.

We pull into the driveway of Frank's house. It was nothing crazy. A two bed one bath house with an unfinished basement in which he uses for music. "Raelyn says we need to be there by six at the latest so I'm going to hop in the shower and your stuff is in the spare bedroom." Frank tells me as we walk through the door. It was four-thirty now so I have plenty of time to cover this shit up. Frank walks up the stairs leaving me alone in his living room. I haven't been here in awhile but it's the same as I remember it. Just a little messier. I don't waste any time and make my way up to the spare bedroom.

I don't pay attention to anything except looking at the dress. And to my misfortune. It was a shorter black dress that exposes most of my shoulders and all of my neck and arms. I won't be wearing makeup for awhile after this because I'm gong to be using a lot of it. I slip off my turtle neck leaving myself in just a bra surveying the damage. The bruises were scattered around my neck and there were faint bruises on my shoulders where he held me down. There was also a light bruise that had now formed on my face where Gerard had slapped me this morning. Looking at myself made me feel disgusted. I looked like a bruised apple when it's dropped on concrete. There was so much more I could have done to prevent this. But I didn't.

I force myself out of my disgusted trance and quickly begin working on covering everything up. And it wasn't easy. Through the day the markings darkened making it a lot more difficult to cover up. I started with my neck as those ones were the worst and there was no excuse I could come up with unlike my face and shoulders. I tried using tissue underneath all of it and that really helped cover the darkness a lot.

"Hey Riley can you help me really quick- oh my god!" I snap in the direction of Frank and quickly cover myself with my discarded shirt. "Frank! Knock!" I turn away from hm and slip my shirt back on. But instead of leaving like and normal person would. Frank stood there. With a shocked and pained expression. "What?" I ask him while fixing my hair. "What happened. To your neck? And your shoulders?" I bite the inside of my cheeks and look away from him. "I told you I would tell you after I told Raelyn Frank." He crosses his arms and stares down at me. "That was before when I only saw the red mark on your face. You are covered in bruises. A-and hickies?" I could feel the tears form in my eyes as I stare at the ground. "It's not what you think it is Frank. Please just drop it. Again like I said. I will tell you whenever I tell Rae. Okay? I promise." I look up at him and give him a weak smile. He looks down at me sadly before nodding. "Be out in the living room by five fifteen. The snow is starting up again." I only nod in response before he walks out and closes the door behind him.

It didn't take me much longer to cover everything up. It wasn't perfect but unless you looked really hard you shouldn't be able to see them. I brush out my hair, having no time to style it. I carefully slip on the dress but wasn't able to get the back. I'll just ask Frank. I slip on the pair of tights and the black flats that came with the dress before walking out of the bedroom to find Frank. I found him sitting in the living room just playing around on his phone. He was wearing a nice black suit with a black undershirt. He usually dresses casual for work so it was weird seeing him dressed like this. "Frank?" I looks up from his phone and up at me. "Could you zip me up?" I ask and he smiles. "Of course." He stands up and walks over. I turn around and he pulls the zipper all the way up to my neck. "You look amazing Riley." He says to me with a smile. I smile back. "And so do you Mr. Iero."  I walk over to the door and grab the pair of shoes I had came in. "We aren't in school Riley. I hate being called Mr. Iero!" He whines from behind me as he slips on his shoes. "But you're still my teacher-" "I'm your friend Riley. Remember?" I chuckle. "I'm just messing with you Frank. Now lets go."

Frank was right. The weather was getting worse. It was becoming more difficult to see. But Frank is a good driver. We didn't arrive late but we didn't arrive early either. I could see Raelyn's car parked beside Gerard's as well as another two vehicles I didn't recognize. "Who else is here?" I ask while looking over at Frank. "I'm not sure. I haven't talked to Raelyn since this morning?" I grab my phone and toss my old shoes in the back. Frank gets out and walks over to my side of the car. He opens the door for me and grabs my hand to help me up and out of the car. "Thank you." I say to him with a smile. He returns the smile but doesn't let go of my hair and I quickly realize why. Almost immediately my shoes give out and I nearly fall onto my ass and into the snow. Frank holds me tight until we reach the front door where he lets me go and knocks.

After a few seconds of waiting the door swings open to reveal Gerard. He smiles down at us and ushers us inside. "Don't wanna let all the heat out. Glad you guys made it safely." He places his hand on both of our shoulders and I couldn't help but flinch slightly. He notices and shoots me a warning glare. "You guys look nice! Raelyn told me she picked out your outfit so I knew it would be a surprise." Gerard says. Trying to spark conversation. "Y-yeah. I honestly didn't know what to expect either.  I didn't expect this." He smiles while scanning me up and down a few times before turning his attention over to Frank. "Lets go catch up with the others."

I follow behind Frank as Gerard leads us down to the basement where the sounds of chatter become louder. By the sounds of it. There was four other people down there. We reach the bottom of the stairs and I'm finally able to put faces to voices. Raelyn was down there with. Mr. Toro? There was also a girl with light brown hair who was clinging onto a brown haired guy I didn't recognize. He definitely looked tall and he was lanky. "I hope you don't mind but I invited Mr. Toro over as well because he's a good friend of mine and he brought along his wife, Christa. And as you know I invited my brother. Mikey and his girlfriend Jess tagged along." He sounded annoyed when he mentioned the girlfriends name. I could feel my stomach drop and my eyes grow wide as I stare at the once unidentified man. I totally forgot that he was going to be here. Thanks why Raelyn wanted me to dress up so nicely! "And Mikey. You remember Frank and Riley right?" He shakes Frank's hand and smiles before looking over at me. "I'm not sure I remember a Riley?" I feel myself freeze. He doesn't remember me? "Well you might remember her as Trinity?"

I could see the realization wash over Mikey's face as he stares down at me in shock. I have seen this man since I was eight. That was ten years ago. "Holy shit. I can't believe it's you!" Without warning I felt myself get lifted off the ground and hugged tightly. I laughed loudly and hugged him tightly in response. "I never thought I'd ever see you again!" He exclaims while setting me back down on the ground. "I let out a chuckle and look up at him. "I never thought I'd see you again either It's been so damn long! You look good!" I say to him while scanning him. I could easily see he grew a good two feet and got a few tattoos. I would have never of been able to point him out in a crowd. "And you look stunning! You've changed so much!" He smiles widely down at me before hugging me once again. "I missed you." I smile and hug him back. "I missed you too Mikey."
