"I am and I'm hungry too. I'd like to believe my boyfriend intends to feed his poor hungry girlfriend." I pouted.
"You been using that title against me all week. Ion like being taken advantage of yunno."
"Could you really ever be taken advantage of Dave?"
"I didn't think it possible before but clearly I just ain't met the right one before." He said jokingly.
I still can't believe I'm dating thee David Brewster. Never in a million years could I have foreseen this not even as a teen. When I used to crush over Dave like the high school girl that I was, I never actually thought of pursing him and even if I did I doubt I would've been successful. I think it's strange the way the world works but I believe everything happens for a reason at the right time. I fell for this man unexpectedly and Dave actually catching feelings for me is out of this world. I mean I can admit that I'm awesome. I am beautiful, intelligent, anything but easy, a good sense of humor, better personality and all the traits in the world that would make me perfect minus the attitude. I would literally be perfect if it wasn't for my slick mouth. He definitely upgraded from Granny Lulu but that's one thing I probably won't ever have to fix my good lips to tell him. I couldn't be any less bothered by Millie actually and I would never have any beef with her. I don't believe in beefing with the ex unless I have a good reason. She did come for me on live once but she ain't make no noise since. Besides Dave and I officially dating now makes this a clean slate so as far as I am concerned we have no issues. Besides she's Kairi's mom. I happen to adore their daughter so out of respect I definitely won't cross any lines with her mom. I just hope she doesn't ever give me a reason to reconsider that.
I slept at Dave's house twice already. The first night when we made it official and then last night. I called Keisha and Arlena the next day to give them the good news. I was way to excited to hold it in for too long. What better choices than to tell my best friend and twin first. I would've told them sooner had the opportunity presented itself but Dave and I were laid up in bed all night which I'm not complaining about by the way. I was on a FaceTime call with Danny yesterday and gave her the tea while I was at it. She freaked out for a minute but she was happy nonetheless.
Dave just got back from handling business and I'm about ready to return to my grandmother's house now. If I wasn't wine drunk earlier I would've had him dropped me off but it's disrespectful to arrive at granny's house drunk. I woke up about half an hour ago and all I've been thinking about is food. As tempting as Dave's kitchen looked to play Chef Fenty in, I really didn't have the strength in me to slave over a stove.
"You ready or what?" Dave asked re entering the room.
"Yeah lemme just throw on a sweater." * * "I know you lying. You said you wasn't gon be here til mud month or early December."
