Hey everyone, I know I have talked about this book a lot and I really really love this idea that simplystiles- let me adopt. She also made the cover for this book, check her out she's awesome.

So I am very excited for this story and I'm going to release it October 10th. I know its so far away! I'm only doing this because it gives me enough time to finish my other story Out of the Shadows.

I am going to start updating regularly again. I'm sorry I kind of feel off track, there has just been a lot of things going on in my life and its been difficult to stay focused.

I'm experiencing a lack of interest in everything and its really bothering me, because writing is one of my favorite things to do. But enough about me, its time you learned about Sage Evans...

Meet Sage Evans, she is more one the quiet side, and may seem shy, but she's one of the smartest girls you'll ever meet, other than Lydia Martin of course. But Sage is a different kind of smart.

She's been studying to be a nurse since she was 12. She's been shadowing numerous nurses at Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital. Although she usually requests for Melissa McCall, since the two get a long so well.

Sage started her obsession of becoming a nurse when she was 12. 4 years ago her mom died of cancer.

She spent many days in the hospital by her mother's side watching as the doctors spewed big medical terms she didn't understand, and saw the nurses spend time with her and her mother making them comfortable.

She saw the doctors as cold machines, while she saw Melissa McCall and the other nurses as kind people.

The day her mother died, her dad wasn't even in town, he was deployed in Iraq and didn't get back until later that night.

That day she decided she wanted to be like Melissa McCall, help those who can't help themselves. Be kind, make a difference in someone's life.

Her best friend called her crazy for knowing exactly what she wanted to do since she was 12.

The difference between Faye and most people was that she supported her friend, unlike most people who thought she was mentally unstable.

That's what had happened to Sage, her mother died, and six months later her father was back fighting the good fight, and she was alone.

She had a few too many panic attacks and break downs, over what seemed like nothing so her dad sent her to the guidance counselor at school.

That made everything worse. People laughed at her called her Crazy Sage, tormented her for the rest of middle school.

Once high school started she was determined to be a different person, transferring away from most of her class mates helped too. That's when she met her best friend Faye Miller.

Calling them best friends doesn't even begin to describe their friendship. They always considered each other sisters, and are rarely apart.
