"So what are we watching today?" I ask walking in and dropping the bags on the coffee table, "I'm pretty sure I cleared out the entire store."
"Penny somehow managed to convince me to watch Sharknado." Faye grumbles.
Penny lets out a laugh as she gets the movie set up, "It's the best way to cure me of my bad mood." She defends, "Its a great movie."
"Define great." Faye hisses as she plops onto the couch and grabs the starbursts out of one of the bags.
"I think Sharknado is a great idea." I force a smile as I drop down on the couch beside Faye.
"Define great." She repeats but with a softer voice than before.
"Just shut up and eat your stupid pink starbursts." Penny remarks.
Faye lets out a small gasp, "Fine, but you're not getting any."
"Like we would've anyway." I roll my eyes, taking the orange ones she was discarding.
Faye glares at me, "I still hate you for liking that trash." She says referring to the orange starbursts in my hands.
"I'll add it to the list." I respond with a roll of my eyes.
The movie started and Penny is a genius, despite the awful acting and effects it increases my mood so much. I almost forgot why I had started crying earlier, and why I had been feeling like I was about to break all day. Suddenly, it just all melted away. Tonight was exactly what I needed.
We eventually watched all 4 of the Sharknado movies, because somehow Penny convinced us too. It constantly brought up the question 'who keeps funding this movie?' resulting in us calling whoever is doing that an idiot. The first one is slightly understandable, but seriously...four? Well too be fair whoever is funding these movies isn't putting much money into it. At least not enough to get some descent effects.
The three of us fell asleep on the floor. Where we had set up a air mattress, full of blankets and pillows. Today I managed to fall asleep and stay asleep okay. Not perfectly but good enough to keep the bags under my eyes to a minimum. The three of us managed to get to school on time and even a bit early, to the point where we got there before Erica. Penny brought us up on all the newest gossip, such as Scott McCall made co-captain which caused Jackson Whittemore to be even more of a douche. Something I didn't think was possible, until I saw it first hand.
