"You should let him go....or even better!!! Make him jealous!!" She raises her eyebrows at me. I take a deep breath and nodd.
"Ok.....i will do so"
"Yeeessssssss! I'm going to put you in the newspaper!"
"It's not that big of a deal! Don't."
She smiles and positions herself where she's facing me.
"So.....who will be your boyfriend?"
"Umm.....Jason? Carol?" I suggest.
"Do Jason, he's popular and he's had a crush on you sense 8th grade"
I blush and look at my hands.
"You will....return to school right?"
I blow hair out of my face and watch the woman scrub the heel of my foot.
"I guess....Jon gives me no company once so ever. But makes me choose heads or tails and all I get is some quarter"
Cece nods and I sit back.
Jason is cute, he's funny, has a positive attitude......This could work.
"Ma'am? Oh... nevermind"
I blink, I seriously should pay attention more.
"What?" I look at my toes and I notice they were painted a maroon color. Awwee...
"Cece, get it?!!! Maroon 5!!!!"
"No? What a stupid name....just no"
....
We walk out of the salon and I sit in my car. I burst into tears and Cece hugs me.
"I miss him! Adam.....! I want him so bad!" I let out a sob and Cece rocks me back and forth.
"Then get back together"
"But that will show weakness and I can't do that!"
She let's out a sigh and we sit like that for a while, me sniffling. Time to time crying again.
"It's gonna be ok....In the end you'll live happily ever after"
"Yeah......I will" I smile and we drive home.
I will be happy, and it will be with or without Adam. I just hope it's with Adam.
