Chapter 10

*Adam's P.O.V.*

I rolled my eyes and opened the door. Hailey yawned and looked around. Her eyes go wide and i follow her eyes. She was staring at this boy. I grow envious and slide my arm around her waist.

   "My EX" she whispers and i smirk.

  "We can make him jealous?"

   "Uh....Adam. let's go...." she stutters and I see Jordan sprint over to us.

   "Hailey....Adam! My man!" I high five him and look at Hailey.

   "I'm going to order. You can go sit with Jordan" she silently nodds and walks over to Jordan.

     *Hailey's P.O.V.*

I walk to Jordan's table and i feel eyes follow me there. I grow pale and slouch into the leather booth.

   "You feeling okay? I'm sure Ad-"

"No. I'm fine" i mutter and close my eyes.

It feels like a pain is shooting through my sides, along with thousands of eyes watching me.

I feel weight be added to the booth and i open my eyes. Adam is staring at me with a worried face.

    He motions for me to scoot closet and I lay my head against his chest. He lightly kisses my forehead and starts talking to Jordan.

    I stay quiet listening to their conversation. There was lots of "I'll tell you later" and hushes. Then I feel breathe on my skin.

    "You wanna eat?" I look up to see Adam looking at me with a smile. I look around my EX had left. In relief i nodd my head. He smiles as i sit up. I look at the food on the table. 1 peice of pizza  and half a salad, i shake my head grabbing the pizza.

        "Hey, Hailey right?" A girl my age says as she sits next to Jordan and gives him a peck on the cheek.

       "Uh.....yeah" i say between bites.

     *Adam's P.O.V.*

  She then screams on the top of her lungs and I turn toward her raising a eyebrow at her. I look at a window and see a crack in the window. She pushes me out of the seat and quickly runs to the door. I run after her and i see rain, it hits my white shirt as i chase her to the same exact window.

    I get out my phone and get the flashlight. She's hunched over this rock in her hand.  She turns toward me and runs to me. I feel her years spilling on my shirt.

    "Shh.....It's okay" i rock her back and forth and her sobbs get quieter. We stand there for a few minutes and i feel the courage I've been needing all this time.

     I lean down and lift her head up. She looks at me and i close the small gap between us. I then softly press my lips to hers and she suprisingly kisses me back.

     We kiss for another minute and I back away. I look at her who was smiling.

     "Hailey......"

     "Adam..."

     Can i do this? What will Henry and Colby say? Screw them....

     "Hailey will you go out with me?" A smile spreads across her face.

      "Yea" We hug and i grab her hand.

     Hailey was now mine, except I'm scared now. I don't want to loose her. Should i have let Colby have her? Or even worse, Henry? Or any other boy that has this crush on her?

           We walk back inside and Jordan and Taylor catch up with us.

       "Well....Me and Hailey are dating" I say quietly and Taylor shrieks.

        "Awwee!!!!!! You guys are soo cute! I knew you could do it!" He slaps me on the shoulder and smiles at Hailey.

       Just what now? I have Hailey....there's nothing i wanted more. Now i will cheerish her while i still can.
