Chapter 25

I'm so sorry you guys! I'm just caught up in reading and I'm in a little bit of a writers block. I also have big plans for this book! The rest of the book will be in Hailey's Pov. If this is upsetting, I'm sorry. But! If you guys REALLY want Adam's POV....Then comment chapters you want in his Pov from now on and I'll put them in a separate book, so look forward to that. Hailey's Pov

I take a seat next to Jason at lunch and his eyes widen at my gesture.

Boys were always girl toys. Or that's what they thought, I didn't. I personally loved boys. They made life fun.

"Hi Jason"

"Hey Hail" I force out a laugh and stare at my nails.

"Tell me about yourself. Any girls?" I nudge my shoulders with him and he sinks into his chair.

"Yeah, there's this girl. I've liked her sense 8tj grade. She's gorgeous and everything I want in a girl, but she's seen better boys then me and I know she won't like me" I suddenly feel bad for him, like I was a monster.

"Jason..."

There's a silence for a minute as he settles in what's going on.

"I want to show you something. Do you mind?"

"No, not at all!" He hesitantly grabs my hand and leads me off campus.

He shows me a rock. A rock! I roll my eyes.

"Ohhh....a rock! Seriou-"

Before I finish his hands are on my waist pulling me towards him. His lips crash on mine and I stand there. Not moving. If anything I'm scared.

I don't close my eyes, they stay open and I stare at his closed eyes.

I look to the side and I see a tall muscular figure exiting the building.

I die inside.

"Jason, I can't..." I push him away and I sit on a bench. Adam's eyes lock with mine.

"Hailey?" Is the last thing I hear and my world suddenly goes black.

"TELL ME SHE'LL BE SAFE!" I hear a voice scream from outside.

"Sir.."

"Please! Please! Please!" The voice isn't booming anymore. It's more of a begging.

"She's my world. Please! Jason can't have her. Just let me see her"

"Ok" I hadn't bothered to open my eyes. I kmew who it was, his voice, his smell, it was all so familiar.

My head hurt, it wasn't bad but it pained me.

"Adam Levine, you need...." a man, I'm guessing the doctor says and pain shoots through my head. Why was I to be reminded?

I could forget...push him to the back of my mind.

The pain gets unbearable and I scream. I hear it myself and I noticed how quiet it was. I open my eyes and scream again.
