Adam's P.O.V
I part from Hailey and my mind wanders throughout class. I try to focus but Hailey's on my mind. I shake my head, I can't let her distract me. I won't accept it....ever.
"Grades before girls son" I remember my father had told me. I had sworn I had to follow those 4 words, but my father is dead now....
I feel my vision get blurry and I know I was about to cry. No matter how hard I tried, I knew I couldn't stop them.
"Teacher...may I have a break?"
" Of course, Levine!"
I run to the gym and I see Hailey fall from this bar. My insides scream hoping that she'll land safely. She sees me in the corner of her eye and she walks towards me.
"ADAM?!?!?" I prepare myself for a lecture but she just hugs me. I let our a small sob and she hushes me.
"It's okay" I hear her mutter over and over, I hug her tight and she pulls back to look at me.
"Adam,what has gotten into you?"
Hailey's P.O.V.
" I had to see you...to tell you I'm sorry..."
I shake my head.
"Adam, being my lovely boyfriend is enough. You don't need to apologize"
He smiles and I laugh. I then see Colby walk toward us. I hold my breath and hug Adam. He burys his head in my neck and I watch Colby stare at me.
He disapprovingly shakes his head like I unsatisfy him with my existence and continues walking.
Adam pulls back and kisses me. I kiss him back and he nodds like he needed me to cheer him up. Am I just a toy to him? Does he really love me?

I quickly walk back and Adam turns to leave.
"Eh...that wasn't bad..i guess. More importantly I saw you and your boyfriend"
I don't reply, and leave him hanging.
"Explore this" Mrs.Vanveen points at the exercises. She doesn't need to tell me twice. I run with the other people up the net and I'm at the top of the net looking down.
"Have fun!" I then feel myself fall. I scream at the top of my lungs and my back crashes into the mat. I groan, pain shooting through my back.
"Hailey!' I hear someone scream and I close my eyes, my back aches...
