Chapter 12: His Nightmare

Jungkook's POV [1:27am]

"this isn't going to work Jungkook. I don't love you like how you love me so please let me go" she pushed me away and began to walk with her back facing me. I froze on my spot as I watched her body get lost in the crowd. her shadows slowly fading as the light only gets brighter while I sink into the dark depths of my heart

"I'm suffocated just by looking at you. you're annoying" her voice echoed in my head, slowly making me mad

"You're annoying. You're annoying. You're annoying" I covered my ears but no use, it only keeps ringing and ringing and ringing

"STOP! Please stop, please stop" I woke up with my cheeks stained with tears and my hair drenched with sweat. I feel suffocated by the dream I had to the point that I couldn't control my breath

"what? hey, what's wrong?" I looked beside me to see Amelia sitting on the bed as she wiped the drool off her lip then looks at me with her eyes that fills me butterflies in my stomach

"did you had a nightm-" I don't know what my intention is, maybe it's just my heart shutting down my brain. I wrapped my arms around her waist while I carefully laid the both of us down on the bed. 

I breathe heavily as I buried my face on her neck. she smells like a fruit with a bit of vanilla. I love it. it's not a strong fragrance like an expensive perfume or a faint one almost like a natural scent. it's just right. 

we laid there, completely silent. I found peace while hugging her while she brushed my hair with her fingertips

[A/n: just imagine them naked]

"now, will you tell me what happened in your dream?" she gently whispers on my ear making me raise my head to look at her concerned gaze with a bit of curiosity peeking through it.

"I.... dreamt of my ex." I sat on the bed with my back leaning against the cupboard as Amelia did the same thing. she covered herself with the soft blanket then placed a pillow behind her head

"the dream was short and more specified. it was the day when we broke up. 2 years ago"
