Elizabeth Cullen: The story of Renesmee's twin sister

Chapter 7

(ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.)

After dad yelled the whole family had come down to the house to see what was going on. I quickly slid off the bed and pulled my jeans on. "Seth, get out now!" Dad yelled, "And don't even think about coming back!" "Dad, don't!" I begged. "Elizabeth, don't talk to me right now! Seth, I said get out!" Seth got up and began walking out the door. I jumped up and grabbed his arm, "Dad, you can't make him not come back!"

Dad walked over and pulled Seth away from me, "Yes I can!" He shoved Seth out of my room then turned back to glare at me, "And you young lady are grounded for the rest of your life!" "Dad-" I started but he held up his hand to stop me, "Don't even fucking try it! What the hell is wrong with you, Elizabeth?! I didn't raise you to go whoring around like that!"

"Edward." Mom, who had become a little less enraged, grabbed his arm but he kept going, "I just don't understand why you can't be more like Renesmee!" Renesmee, who was standing in the doorway, flinched a little. She hates when dad says stuff like that to me because she knows how much it hurts me. "You know what," Dad started again, "I don't even want to see you right now! Get out!"

"Edward!" Mom yelled. I pushed past both of them and ran out the door. "Elizabeth!" Mom called after me. I could hear her and a few others following me, but I kept going. I've always been the fastest one in my family so I eventually began to lose them. I made it to the lake and dove into the water. As long as I stay submerged they won't be able to find me.

(BELLA'S P.O.V.)

"Elizabeth, where are you?!" I called as me, Renesmee, Rosalie, and Emmett ran through the forest trying to fnd her. The others stayed at the house incase she came back.

"Bella, there's no sign of her." Emmett said after a few hours of searching. "We have to keep looking!" I demanded. "Maybe she went home." Rosalie said. "Nessie, can you talk to her through your mind link?" I asked Nessie. She shook her head, "No. I've been trying but she won't answer." I growled and turned to kick a tree. It immediatly snapped in half and fell over. I'm still angry about Elizabeth and Seth almost having sex but I didn't want her to run away like that.

I know Elizabeth, she may not come back for weeks, maybe months. We have to find her. I don't want my baby out here all alone. She may be part vampire but she could still get hurt. If I could cry I would be by now. Edward shouldn't have said that to her. He knows how easily he can upset her.

"Bella, let's go check and see if she went home. If not we'll look again." Rosalie said. "Ok." We ran back to the house. The rest of the family was sitting in the living room of the main house. Elizabeth wasn't there. "Did you find her?" Edward asked. His face was full of regret. "Like you care!" Nessie snapped.

Everyone turned to stare at her. She never snaps like that. "How dare you say that!" Edward yelled at her. "Edward, don't. We've had enough yelling for one night." I said, practically hissing. He flinched and sat on the couch. "Of course I care." He said. "No you don't," Nessie hissed, "You're the one that told her to leave."

Edward jumped to his feet, "I didn't mean it!"

"Then why did you say it?! Why do you always say stuff that hurts her?!"

No one said anything. Renesmee ran out the door and to our house.

(RENESMEE'S P.O.V.)

Elizabeth?! Elizabeth, please answer! I begged through our mind link. No response. I flopped down on my bed, buried my head in my pillow, and cried. What if she doesn't come back? She might not. Every time dad compares us it hurts her. She may be tired of it.

I didn't like the idea of her having sex either but her and Seth are literally meant to be together. It'll happen sooner or later. Seth! Maybe she's with him! I cimbed out my window and ran as fast as I could to Seth's house.

As soon as I got there I burst through the door. Him and Leah were sitting on the couch talking. "Nes, what are you doing here?" Seth asked. He looked upset. Probably because he was told he couldn't see Elizabeth anymore. "Is Lizzy here?" I asked. He shook his head, "No. I thought she'd be locked in her room."

"She isn't. She ran way."

"What?! Have you looked for her?"

"We've been looking all day but we can't find her."

"I'll go look then." Leah stood up, "I'll help." Leah never liked me much but her and Lizzy have always been pretty good friends. "I have to go home before my parents realize i'm gone. Let me know if you find anything." "Ok." Seth said. I ran back to my house.

(ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.)

I just pulled myself out of the water and began running again. Tears were streaming down my cheeks and falling to the ground. There's no way I can go back home. Not now at least. Dad hates me. If I go home he'll just tell me to leave again.

After another hour of running I slumped on the ground and leaned on a tree. What am I supposed to do? Hide in the woods until I feel like it's safe to go home? Maybe I could stay with Seth. No, that'll be one of the first places they look. I started crying even more thinking about Seth.

My thoughts were interupted by a twig snapping. I held my breath then heard a deep male voice say, "Look what we have here." A tall vampire stepped out from behind a tree. He had jet black hair that went just past his ears. Two other vampires stepped out behind him. One male and a female. All of them looked fairly young and had black hair and red eyes.

They were wearing the same robes the volturi wore, but I didn't recognize them. "It's one of the Cullen hybrids." The female said. "Where's your sister?" One of the males asked. "None of your business!" I hissed. The older looking male stepped closer to me, "Fine then. We'll just take you." He grabbed the back of my hair and started dragging me away, with the two other vampires following close behind.

"Let go!" I yelled, grabbing his hand and trying to pull it from my hair. It was no use. "What do you want with me?" I asked after a few minutes. "Aro has always wanted one of the Cullen hybrids in the volturi." The man holding me answered.

"I will never join the volturi." I said sternly.

He smiled an evil smile, "Aro will convince you other wise. You're Elizabeth, aren't you?"

I slowly nodded.

"Good," He said, "Aro has always wanted to meet you."

I quickly twisted out of his grip and started running. The woman quickly tackled me and pinned me to the ground. She punched me across the face a few times until one of the men pulled her off. The other man grabbed my arm and yanked me up. He twisted my arm behind my back, making it feel like he would rip it off any minute, and started dragging me again.
