All I could do was stare at the Faunus girl with wide eyes. Blake is one of the ones who had fallen for me wasn't surprising, but the sudden confession had caught me off guard. We had only just met a few weeks ago, after all.

Blake: I-I know this is sudden, but I love you. I feel like you're the only person who understands me. You knew my secret and still accepted me for who I am rather than what I am. You saved my life during the initiation, and since then I've developed feelings for you.

I hesitated while Blake looked at me with a blush on her face.

Blake looked somewhat dejected, which caused me to sigh.

Before Blake could finish, I cut her off.

Before I could respond, Blake looked up at me and softly kissed my cheek, causing me to blush.

Blake giggles as she lets go of me. A playful smirk forms on my face, noticing the book she was reading earlier.

(Y/N): My My, I didn't realize you were into THAT kind of stuff, Blake.

Blake looks away, pouting and slightly embarrassed that I noticed she was reading "Ninjas of Love."

Blake: Why do you know what it is?

(Y/N): My old sensei was a massive pervert and liked to read that filth all the time.

My mood turned bitter upon mentioning Koro-Sensei. Watching him die significantly impacted me, leaving a decent amount of guilt within me. I know my other friends felt that we could've done more. Even so, he never really stood a chance. It was either we do it, or the government would. Blake quickly picked up on my sudden gloominess.

Despite everything that happened, I could never talk about what happened with my team or anyone else who wasn't involved. Not only because the government instructed us to keep everything under wraps, but also because discussing my past brought up so much pain that I wanted to forget. Blake noticed my sudden gloominess and looked at me with worry.

Blake: Well, it is getting quite late.
