Remus' POV

I opened my eyes once I heard the deafening sound of pots and pans clanging together around the room. I squinted at the light as I saw Sirius, James, and Peter hitting the metal together.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Moon-" Sirius started as I rolled over and covered my ears.

"Shove off." I groaned.

"It's your birthday mate, get up!" James yelled, standing over my bed.

I rolled my eyes and swung my legs over the bed, making my way to the bathroom to get ready.

As I hopped out of the shower and tugged on my light worn out jeans the handle of the door started to open.

"In here!" I yelled as I rushed around trying to find my favorite oversized jumper. I straightened up at the realization. "Padfoot, do you have my favorite jumper on?" I asked through the door and I could practically hear his grin.

"Yep! You're not getting it back anytime soon. Here, I'll get you a different one." He suggested and went off to find another.

I waited for a while until the door slowly opened. His hand shoved into the crack of the door and he threw the sweater across the room.

"There you go Moons." He said happily and opened the door a little more to peer in.

"Out!" I yelled with a smile. He laughed and closed to door before winking.

A few minutes later I came out of the restroom to see Sirius reading on my bed.

"What're you reading?" I asked as he looked up from his book.

"This muggle book Lily got me a little while ago.
It's called 'the Lorax'." He replied and looked back at the picture book.

I laughed at his book choice and scooted over towards him. He put the book down and looked at me.

"Y'know James and Peter left for breakfast already." Sirius said with a smirk. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"They didn't wait up for us before leav-" I was cut off by Sirius' lips on mine. I could never get over his kisses. They were soft and passionate.

Our lips moved in sync as Sirius pushed my back onto the headboard of the bed and straddled me. He bit down on my bottom lip, and slipped his tongue in my mouth as my fought over dominance, rolling around on the bed. He started to tug at the bottom of my jumper and slid his hands under it, tracing his hands over my scars when we heard the sound of glass breaking and a loud gasp.

We quickly parted to see James standing there like a deer in headlights. [A/N: see what I did there] his plate was on the floor and his toast held loosely in his hand.

"W-when did y- wh- how did- Siriu- Rem- what?!" He stuttered with disbelief.

"Surprisee...." Sirius said and waved his jazz hands with a nervous smile. I wiped my lips and sorted my jumper out, pulling it down.

"Okay James. Sit down." I said slowly and sat him down across from us.

"How did this happen?" He questioned, getting over the emotion of surprise he had when he walked in on his two best friends snogging.

"A few months ago I realized I had feeling for Remus and apparently he did too. It's really not that complicated. We just figured out our feelings and now we're... not dating yet." Sirius explained.

"When did you guys first kiss? I assume you kissed first and didn't just go straight to snogging in Remus' bed." He laughed.

"About a month or two ago." Remus said in a questioning voice. "Why-"

"Lily owes me 5 galleons!" He exclaimed and ran out of the dormitory door leaving me and Sirius dumb founded. We looked at each other and burst out laughing before heading out to eat breakfast.

We smiled at each other and interlocked hands but let go as we entered the Great Hall. We sat down and Sirius started fidgeting with his hands as the food was passed around.

"Sirius, you okay?" I asked and placed my hand over his fidgeting ones.

"Yea there's just something I want to do. Actually I need to do this, one second Remmy." He replied and stood up on the table.

I rolled my eyes at the choice of nicknames for me and looked up at him kicking the plated around to make room for his feet.

"I'd like to announce something!" Sirius yelled at the top of his lungs and McGonagall face palmed. "I'm gay! My apologies Minne, my love for you was... forged!" He said dramatically, holding his arm out in the direction of McGonagall as she tried to hide a smile with a look of disapprovement.

Sirius sat back down with a grin plastered on his face.

"First of all, that was extremely dramatic," I started with a laugh. "Secondly, I don't think the girls are very happy about that." I commented, pointing to one girl who was crying to her friend. He raised an eyebrow and chuckled dryly.

"Got a lot of lovers I guess Moony. Why, you jealous?" He taunted and I raised an eyebrow as my face turned serious.

"You wish." I responded with a smirk. He laughed and we started eating the breakfast on the Great Hall's tables.

General POV

They made their way back to the dormitories and sat down to relax for a while before Sirius took Remus for a few hours.

Remus opened his morning book to start reading when a small note fell out. He read it with a wide smile and stuffed it into his pocket, waiting for 2:30 to roll around.

After reading and playing around for a while it was almost 2:15 and Remus needed to get ready. He threw on some light skinny jeans with unintentional holes in them and a white button up.

As he made his way downstairs he found Sirius sitting on the common room chair, Remus' oversized sweater with a black collar attached and black, ripped jeans. He had a white daisy in his hand, Remus' favorite flower, while his foot repeatedly tapped on the floor, anxiously.

"You ready?" Remus asked, startling Sirius from his small trance. Sirius got up abruptly and cleared his throat before giving Remus the flower and grabbing his hand to make their way towards the Black Lake.

They ran through the halls, laughing before they stopped and Remus admired the hard work Sirius  had put into the picnic in front of the two boys. Remus smiled and pecked Sirius' lips before sitting down.

"Do you like it?" Sirius asked with a half-smile, clearly nervous.

"It's perfect. Thank you Siri." I responded with and took his hand into mine as we started eating the varieties of sandwiches, soups, fruits, and lots of chocolate. In Remus' eyes, Sirius really was the perfect.... Not boyfriend. But Remus couldn't help but wish he was.

I was gonna finish their date, but it was getting too long so the rest of it will be in the next chapter. Have a good day, because I'm not. Maybe you stole it from me.
