The heavens opened above Ahch-To - the relentless, pitiless heavens. It rained as if the island had never seen rain before. It began in the morning, nearly as loud as thunder, wrestling everyone from their sleep, as little or as much of it as they'd received.

Remii barely slept. She couldn't differentiate what had been a dream and what hadn't. She couldn't remember for how long he'd remained or when she'd nodded off. None of that mattered. All that mattered was that she knew. It was time.

Time to save Ben.

Fairy knew it too when Remii appeared at her hut, drenched in the heavy downpour, Remii's wild eyes staring back at her. All it took was a nod. Fairy mirrored her, and hurried back into her hut to gather up her things and Kast-0. "We'll meet you down at the Falcon," Fairy had whispered, hurrying down the rain-pelted slope with her little robot dog trudging alongside her. On the beach, outside the Falcon, Remii could see Chewbacca staring back at them. Somehow he knew too.

Remii's heart raced more than it ever had before as she hurried up to Finn's hut. Nothing could compare to the desperate clamouring her heart was performing now. Throughout her training on the island, Remii's fear had gradually washed away and what she was left with was a newfound sense of confidence. And now? A new sense of determination.

Remii barely made it to Finn's hut before he swung the door open, his belongings already slung over his back. He smiled softly - and albeit a bit nervously - as he pulled Remii's hood over her head. She'd forgotten she even had one.

"What's the plan?" Finn whispered closely, gently shutting the door behind him as he too lifted his hood.

"We'll explain later," Remii began, somehow breathless. "Trust me."

Finn nodded, as if such a thing were ever doubtable.

"I'll meet you down at the Falcon," she began, her head turning towards her hut. "I have to grab Grog."

Finn's eyes widened, shimmering with something. This was Star Wars after all so maybe it was hope. "He's coming?"

Remii inhaled, for the first time in a long time...trusting her instincts. "In this timeline, he is."

Finn frowned ever so faintly at that, curiosity crinkling at his brows before he effortlessly brushed it off. They were always saying weird stuff like that. Finn gestured to the higher huts with a quick jerk of his chin. "What about Skywalker?"

Remii looked. "I think it's safe to say he already knows our plan."

Finn smiled and nodded, satisfied with that. He offered to take Grogu with him so Remii rushed back to her hut to fetch him. Grogu sat on the bed, his little fingers laying delicately across his lap as he studied her. He looked ready, despite not knowing what this future had in store for him. No one did. Perhaps he was meant to stay here. But then again...this timeline was so backwards anyway, what would doing this hurt?

"Okay?" Remii crouched before him, studying the little green creature. He just stared at her, blinking.

Waiting.

Remii pulled up his hood and carried him back out to Finn. Finn attached the baby wrap and placed him inside, laying his hand on Remii's shoulder, and Remii on his. Only when Finn turned to head down the long journey back to the ship did Remii look back to Luke's hut and see him standing there at the threshold, his gaze trained on Fairy. Then Finn.

Then Remii.

Even with Remii's well-enough vision in this universe, it was hard to distinguish his expression through the pelts of heavy rain. But Remii didn't sense anything to steer her confidence that...he wasn't angry. Remii nodded shortly, more so to herself before turning towards her hut.
