Shadow-Zone and Operation Breakdown

shadow-Zone (Nemesis) Third Persons POV

"Now that I've returned, things will change back to normal" Megatron states. "I want it known if anyone encounters the autobot known as Aqua-star. She is to be brought to me alive and undamaged. Or else" he orders. "Do I make myself clear?" he demands.

"Yes lord Megatron sir" the cons say. Knockout frowns in confusion. Why would Megatron want Aqua-star? My Star? he asks himself. Megatron left, no doubt to go see Star-scream. Who is in the medical bay recuperating after the beating Megatron gave him.

(Autobot base) Aqua-star's POV

Arcee and I just finished sparring and returned to the main room. We enter the room with Bulkhead. To hear Megatron is on the move with dark energon. "Where did he find more of the bad stuff?" Arcee asks.

"And what is he going to do with it?" Bulkhead asks.

"Recruit a new army of undead?" I suggest.

"Zombie cons?" Miko asks excited.

"We cannot rule out the possibility" Optimus tells us. "Especially, since Megatron seems to be heading to a very familiar site" he states. I notice the coordinates and realize he is right. Megatron is heading for the site of Sky-quake's grave.

"So what's the plan Optimus?" I ask.

"Megatron has barely emerged from stasis and it seems he is already making up for lost time" he states. "Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratcher prepare to roll out" he orders.

"Me?" Ratchet asks surprised.

"If we are dealing with dark energon, I may require your expertise" Optimus tells him. "Arcee, Aqua-star" he says.

"Bridge operator, got it" Arcee says.

"Babysitter got it" I grumble folding my arms. I haven't been let out since Megatron woke up. I lean against the wall going into deep thought. Trying to think of a way to get Optimus to let me out of the base. Even just a drive around Jasper, would be better then being stuck here 24/7.

"You ok Star?" Arcee asks me and I notice the others had left.

"I feel like I'm back at square one" I tell her.

"I know it's hard, but we just want to protect you" she tells me.

"I get that, but I'm not a sparkling" I remind her.

"I know" she assures me. "How about once the others are back, we go for a drive?" she suggests.

"Do you really think Optimus would let me leave the base?" I ask her.

"We can ask" she tells me.

"Why's it so quiet?" I ask her and look at the human area. "Arcee, where are the kids?" I ask her.

"I don't know, they were just here" she states. "I'll call the others, you go search the base encase they went exploring" she tells me. I nod my head left the control as she contacts Optims and the other three.

I had barely began my search when I was called back to the control room. I returned to see the others back. But no sign of the kids. "Where are the kids?" I ask.

"That's what we're trying to figure out" Bulkhead tells me. "Miko's phone was left behind and no answer from Jack" he states.

"Miko never goes anywhere without her phone" I state. "Any ideas Ratchet?" I ask.

"Several, but still no luck finding them" he tells me.

"Was Miko's phone always flashing?" I ask.

"No" Bulkhead says and taps it lightly. "In alternate dimension with zombie, help" he reads.

"That doesn't sound possible" Arcee says.

"Ratchet, can we triangulate the location of the cellphone signal?" Optimus asks.

"In a parallel dimensional plain?" Ratchet asks.

"Sounds like a challenge" I say smirking.

"Lets find out" Ratchet says and gets to work. He manages to succeed and we get the kids back. Bulkhead returned Miko's phone. Then the kids went home with their guardians.

(Operation Breakdown)

I'm still stuck at base. Bulkhead is out on a scouting mission alone. While I spar with Bee and Arcee. Getting my frustrations out. While Optimus and Ratchet are in the control room. ANd the kids are at school.

I knock Bee off of his feet. "Ok, enough" Arcee says and I vent heavily. I offer Bee a servo and he takes it. I pull him to his pedes. "Time to get the kids" she tells Bee.

"Bulk back yet?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Can I get Miko?" I ask hopeful. She looks at me sadly. "Of course not" I grumble.

"It'll get better" Arcee assures me. Bee beeps encouragingly. I give them both a weak smile before they left.

(Time skip)

So Bulkhead had gotten into a fight with Breakdown and lost. But somehow wasn't killed. He was bridged back to base and I treated him with Ratchet. While he gave his report. He said he heard a copter and thought it might of been Fowler. "Not me" Agent Fowler states as he appears from the elevator.

"But I have an idea who" he states. "Show me, where this con-napping accord" he tells Bulk. Who agrees. Ratchet shows the coordinates on screen. Saying that's where we picked up Bulkhead. "Most of it was abandoned twenty years ago, when the volcano erupted" Fowler tells us after saying the location. "My Intel report MECH activity there earlier today" he states.

"The organization that was after the DNGS?" I ask and he nods his head.

"They must of tracked one of us there" Bulkhead states.

"But what do they want with Breakdown?" Miko asks.

"Does it matter?" Arcee asks. "They can have him" she states. Bee nods his head in agreement. So does Bulkhead.

"Guys, if MECH has Breakdown. That's bad" I tell them.

"Aqua-star is right" Optimus agrees with me. "Ratchet, reactivate the previous ground bridge coordinates" he orders. "We will rescue Breakdown" he states. Bulkhead refused to go, which was fine with Optimus as he believed Breakdown might need a medic. So Ratchet went with him, Arcee and Bee o rescue Breakdown. While I remained with Bulkhead and the humans.

So Miko manages to talk Bulkhead into going to save Breakdown. So I bridged him to the coordinates. But stay back, even though I wanted to go with him. Optimus would be furious if I left base. "Do you think he'll be ok?" Miko asks me.

"It was you who made him change his mind" I remind her. "But don't worry, Bulkhead can take care of himself" I tell her. "Besides, if he and Breakdown join forces to escape MECH. They'll both be fine" I state.

"Do you really think they'd do that?" Jack asks me.

"Stranger things have happened" I tell him. I contact the others and tell them that Bulkhead had gone to look for Breakdown. They said they hadn't found him and were nearly blown up. I give him Bulkhead's coordinates and keep the channel open to both him & them. Soon Bulkhead calls for backup.

The mission was successful. Breakdown was freed of MECH. Though they did learn a lot about our bio-mechanics. But we didn't lose anyone and they others returned to base safely. Ratchet and I cleaned everyone up. Before Arcee, Bulk and Bee took the kids him.

"Aqua-star, you showed great restraint today by staying at base. Even though Bulkhead had no back up" Optimus tells me. "I know you have been bored, so I've decide to give you some freedom" he tells me.

"Really?" I ask hopeful.

"Just to Jasper and back, never alone" he tells me.

"Thanks Optimus, you won't regret it" I tell him happily. When the others return. Arcee and I go for a ride. Racing through Jasper with our holo-riders. It was fun. We returned to base a couple hours later to recharge.
