Aqua-star: Transformers Prime

Orion Pax: Part 2

Aqua-star's POV

"Please! I mean no harm!" Optimus tells Starscream.

"Oh! Then what are you doing here?!" Starscream demands.

"Research. For Lord Megatron" Optimus gesturing to the screens. I take a photo of them. Then notice the decepticon symbol on his arm, we'll have to get rid of that asap.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Starscream asks him.

"I do not understand" Optimus tells him. "And why did you call me "Optimus Prime"?" he asks. I guess he really has lost his memories of being a Prime. No doubt he still thinks I am his assistant.

"Why wouldn't I?" Starscream counters.

"Because my name is Orion Pax. I am far from being a Prime" Optimus states and I roll my optics. As I see Starscream lower his weapons and sigh in relief. I continue to stay hidden.

"You reminded me of someone I once knew. That's all" Starscream lies smoothly.

"You are Starscream" Optimus states.

"Yes" Starscream says with nod.

"Lord Megatron told me you had been terminated" Optimus tells him.

"Lord Megatron says many things only some of which are true" Starscream tells him. That's true. Then again they can be said about all decepticons. Including Knockout.

"You do not suggest that our leader would speak falsehoods?" Optimus asks. Causing Starscream to laugh.

"You truly are being kept in the dark, aren't you?" Starscream asks with a smirk.

"You speak in many riddles, Starscream. Please, tell me what it is that you know" Optimus pleads. Before they can say anything the door opens to reveal three vehicons who tell Starscream to surrender. He hides behind Optimus. "Hold your fire" Optimus says. Starscream transforms and flies out of the room.

"Stay in the lab, Lord Megatron's orders" the vehicon tells Optimus before leaving. I crawl through the vent and see two guards outside. And silently curse, how I am to talk to Optimus without being heard? Guess I'll just have to wait.

It wasn't long until Megatron appears and I become completely still. Had my absence been noticed yet? He enters the room. "Orion. I am so sorry for the recent commotion. You were not in any way harmed, were you?" Megatron asks fawning concern.

"No, Lord Megatron. But why did you tell me Starscream was dead?" Optimus asks him.

"Because he is dead to our Cause. Starscream was my most trusted lieutenant. Until he turned traitor and joined the Autobots. Never have I witnessed a more profound act of deceit" Megatron tells him. "He did not do or say anything troubling to you?" he asks him.

"No" Optimus tells him.

"Good. Perhaps it is best to forget the entire incident and return to your project" Megatron suggests.

"As you wish, my Lord" Optimus tells him. "How fares Aqua-star?" he asks.

"She is fine and rest peacefully" Megatron states. "Which is good given her condition" he adds.

"She still believes she is an autobot?" Optimus asks.

"Yes, I should go check with Knockout and see if he has made any progress with curing her of that affliction" Megatron states. Then leaves. I see no guards and disable the cameras. Before entering the room.

"Aqua-star" Optimus says surprised.

"Shush, we can't talk long" I tell him as I look around for any other cameras. "I'm working on a way out, but try to stall your decoding. Also look up Optimus Prime, you may find answers" I state. Before jumping back into the vent. "I will see you later, it is good to see you again Orion" I tell him before leaving. I start to search for the nearest ground bridge and the safest route to it. Things would be easier if I could transform.

(Time skip)

I had found a way out, now to get Optimus and leave. But it just got harder, my absence has been noticed and now drones are searching the ship for me. At least I can still fight, even if I can't transform. But Orion Pax had now combat training and would be useless to help. I need to get this stupid device off or cause a distraction of some kind.

(Bridge) Third Persons POV

Soundwave shows Megatron that Optimus had cracked their encryption hiding his identity. "Even our encryptions couldn't keep him from the truth! Orion has much to accomplish and he will stay the course! Even if I must inflict great pain to ensure the completion of project Iacon!" Megatron states. "Status on Aqua-star?" he demands.

"Not found" Soundwave says in Knockout's voice.

"Have her found and ensure she is not harmed!" Megatron orders. "I shall deal with Optimus myself" he states. Before leaving the room as Soundwave relayed his message to the troops already searching for Aqua-star.
