Aqua-star's POV
Bulkhead and I got Bumblebee back to base alive. But boy was Ratchet upset about us taking him into the field. He is currently lecturing Bulkhead and I. While the others watch and we wait for Bumblebee to wait. "Of all the scrap-brained ideas taking Bumblebee into a potential chase scenario when he no longer has the ability to access his wheels?!" he demands.
"He improvised" Bulkhead tells him sheepishly.
"And you!" he snaps turning to face me. "What if the cons had taken you or you had been hurt? It's not just your spark on the line when you're in the field" he states.
"I was fine, my sparkling was fine. I know my limitations. Besides I took a chance it'd be Knockout and was right. I wanted to give him an update" I finish quietly.
"I understand he is the sire, but the rest of the decepticons believe you are carrying Megatron's sparkling. Had Breakdown known you were there, we could of lost you both" he states.
"Ratchet is correct Aqua-star, you cannot act so rashly in future" Optimus tells me.
"I understand" I assure them. Doesn't mean I won't help if I deem it necessary I add in my head.
"Hey, Bee's waking up" Raf announces and we all turn to Bumblebee.
"You've already lost your voice box and your T-cog. Were you really trying to add your Spark to the list?" Ratchet demands.
"I couldn't help Star catch Knockout, I'm useless" Bumblebee buzzes.
"Don't say that, Bumblebee. You're not useless" Raf tells him.
"Raf is right, you aren't useless and you did your best" I tell him.
"Look, I hate to break up the pity party, but the 'Cons just added unknown Iacon payday number two to their armory" Arcee reminds us.
"Yes and we don't know what it is either" I add.
"Neither blame nor praise will modify past events, but we cannot afford to take further unnecessary risks" Optimus states. "Bumblebee, you are not to leave our base not until we can retrieve your missing bio-mechanism" he tells him. "Aqua-star, you are not allowed in the field without back up and only in emergencies" he tells me.
"I understand Optimus" I tell him. He nods his helm and starts to leave. Ratchet follows him. "Are you ok Bee?" I ask him concerned.
"Yeah" he says.
"By the way, what kept you Bulkhead?" I ask.
"Breakdown" he answers.
"Well at least he didn't see me, and Knockout promised to not report it in his mission report" I state.
"That's something" Arcee states.
"I'm sorry we didn't get the relic" Bee tells us.
"We'll get them next time" Bulkhead assures him placing his servo on Bee's shoulder. Just then Ratchet and Optimus rejoin us. Ratchet suggested a T-cog transplant. But I'll have to perform the surgery with Arcee's help as he is the one giving up his T-cog to Bumblebee. It had to be Arcee, as Bulkhead is better at breaking things, Bumblebee is the other patient and Optimus hands are to big to root under Bee or Ratchet's hood encase I need the extra hand.
"You sure about this Ratchet?" I ask him.
"I trust you Star, you are ready. Just remember everything I taught you and everything will be fine" he states. I nod my helm and look at Arcee.
"Induce stasis" I tell her.
"Inducing stasis" she says and Ratchet starts to be tired.
"Thank you Ratchet, I really..." Bee starts to say.
