Orion Pax: Part 3

Aqua-star's POV

I made it back to the room Optimus is in. Only to see him with Megatron. "Orion! Have you made progress with project Iacon?" he asks Optimus. Iacon, that's what Optimus is decoding? I see he still only decoded three sets of coordinates. We can't let the decepticons get a hold of the relics.

"It seems I am a bit rustier than I thought" Optimus tells him. Turning to face Megatron. Who walks around the room.

"Might that have anything to do with the nature of your after-hours research?" Megatron asks him. "Did I fail to mention that we will be tracking your activities?" he asks fawning innocence. As he pulls up a picture of Optimus along with a file. Guess Optimus did as I suggested.

"Why does history portray me siding with the Autobot aggressors? And why did Starscream call me a Prime? I must know! Who am I?" Optimus asks him.

"You are my clerk. Now get back to work and decode that database" Megatron orders. Optimus looks from the console to Megatron.

"No. I would rather erase my findings than make them available for your questionable use" Optimus states erasing the coordinates. Megatron only laughs as he presses a button and all the research reappears. Optimus looks at it surprised.

"Did you really think that we wouldn't be tracking and documenting every iota of your invaluable research?" Megatron asks him. Soundwave enters the room. He shows a picture of Cybertron on his face plate. "One of our sentries was activated, on Cybertron?" he asks.

"You told me our planet was dead" Optimus states. That is true, doesn't mean there aren't things still living there. But what could have activated a sentry?

"That is beside the point" Megatron snaps. "Guards!" he calls and two appear. He puts his sword to Optimus' neck. "You will finish project Iacon by the time I return or I will carve out your Spark before your very eyes!" he threatens. Before leaving with Soundwave. Just need to wait until they are gone, then I can help Optimus. I am sure I can take on the guards without transforming and they'd be less likely to hurt me given they think I am carrying Megatron's heir.

Optimus has not started decoding again since Megatron and Soundwave left. One of the guards powers his blaster heading for Optimus. "No one told you to stop, Pax" the guard tells him as I silently remove the vent terminating the cameras in the room.

"I believe Megatron intends to use whatever he finds on project Iacon to harm the Autobots.
Please. We can warn them" he pleads as they focus on him. One knocking him to the ground and kicking his side.

I drop down behind them. I swept one of their pedes and the other turns to fire. But I dodge and jump on his shoulders. I twist my body slamming him into the ground. As the other gets back up and I hit him with an upper cut knocking him out. Then drop kick the other, knocking him out. "Aqua-star" Optimus says surprised as I help him to his pedes.

"Hey Orion, lets get out of here and back home" I tell him.

"Am I really a Prime?" he asks.

"Yep, and the best leader we either had" I tell him. "Now I currently can't activate my weapons, but you can access yours. Just stay close to me and shot anything that blocks our path" I tell him. "Oh and stay behind me, they won't risk hurting me" I add.

"Why?" he asks.

"I'll explain once you're back to being Optimus and we're home with the others" I tell him. "Do you trust me?" I ask him. He nods his head. "Good, then follow me. I found a way out" I state. "Now I think our friends have taken control of the space bridge and knowing Megatron. He has gone to it to stop them, so we'll just use the same coordinates he uses and stop him" I explain.
