A sharp pain shot through my skull as I slowly came to. I grabbed my head and slowly opened my eyes. A dim light shone from a single lamp in the corner of the room. Which, in my opinion, has to be the most uncomfortable room in the whole world: there were syringes, tubes, scalpels and other stuff like that everywhere. With difficulty I managed to sit up and even hang my legs over the edge of the couch. I noticed that I was wearing nothing but a white robe. Sort of like a hospital gown, but somehow more elegant. I slid off the couch and stood on my bare feet.

When I stepped out of the room it was quiet. So relatively it was really too quiet for a household with 8 children. I walked down the halls and was now in the center of the house.

"Hello?" No Answer.

"Is someone there?" Again no answer.

"Where is everyone?" I mumbled and was about to go into the living room when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Your siblings are on a mission, Miss Y/n." I turned and saw Pogo standing in his usual pose. I nodded understanding.

"What-"

"I see you're fine again. You want to know what happened after the bank collapse, don't you?" I nodded slightly. Man, how can he always know what I'm about to say. Kinda creepy.

"After the collapse, everyone who was injured was taken to a nearby hospital. You saved the child, didn't you? She's fine." I nodded relieved. It was good to hear that people were doing well.

"But you were buried under the rubble. Your brother - Luther - dug you up. You were breathing heavily, but you survived. Many of your bones were broken or bruised. As you can see, everything has healed." he explained to me.

"How.. how long was I gone?" He hesitated.

"9 months, Miss."

"9-" I think I'm going to throw up. I was in a coma for 9 months...

"Your siblings were very upset. Mister Five in particular. He blamed himself for months, rarely eating or sleeping." When I heard that, the color drained from my face. I staggered into the living room and sank onto the couch.

"I.. Was it really that bad?" He didn't answer.

"Miss Y/n. I'm sure your siblings will be back from their mission soon. Surely you want to wear something normal." said Pogo suddenly. I looked over at him and nodded. Yes, and I should take a shower again.

I then went up the stairs to my room, which looks clean and untouched. I grabbed my uniform and then went to the bathroom. I took a long and hot shower. And, god, did that feel good to me. After that I brushed my teeth and put on my uniform. Just as I was trying to put my hair in order, I heard noises from the hallway below. They're back! I left everything as it was and sprinted out of the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and just then I heard people coming up the stairs. I just stood in the middle of the hallway. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the voices of my siblings.

"That was a shitty mission."

"Yes. Totally useless that we showed up there."

"Hmm, do you think Mom did her yummy meatloaf again?"

"Shut up, Klaus!" they called from all sides.

"So what. It's all just-" My sister stopped her sentence, staring at me. Our brothers looked at her confused and then got stuck on me too.

"Y/n!" Suddenly everyone ran around and hugged me.

"Oh my god, Y/n. You're back!" exclaimed Diego.

"I've never been away." I mumbled. As they pulled away from me, I noticed that one wasn't there with us. Five. I looked around and spotted him just a few feet in front of us. But hadn't moved an inch. He just looked at me wide-eyed and I looked back.

"Come on, go." my sister whispered to me. I looked at her, a bit taken aback, but she just gave me a knowing smile. Damn. I scrambled off the floor and got back on my feet. I got to see how my siblings disappeared into their rooms.

"Wait. Why are we going?"

"Be quiet, Klaus!" Then Allison pulled him with her. Now only five and I were here. We weren't far apart. Only about two/three meters. However, it felt like two kilometers. He cautiously took a step forward.

"Y/n.." His voice trailed off. I bridged the last meters between us and jumped into his arms.

"Oh, Five. I'm so sorry. So, so sorry!" I sniffed the crook of his neck. He also wrapped his arms around me. Suddenly I felt a slight tremor beneath me. Is he crying? I broke away from him, but not completely. My arms were still around his neck and his hands were on my hips.

"Hey, hey! Don't cry. Please don't cry.." I said and wiped one of the tears from his cheek.

"It's just.. I missed you so much.. And I should be the one to apologize. I couldn't protect you. I let you down. And I feel so guilty.. so damn guilty.."

"Everything's okay. I'm here. I'm alive. I'm fine." My voice was soft. I looked into his dark green eyes. I noticed his gaze constantly darting down to my lips. I smiled.

"If you want to kiss me, just do it." I said to him. I realized that his face flushed. But then he took the initiative and gently placed his lips on mine. I replied directly and even deepened the kiss a bit. When he even wanted to bring his tongue into play, I broke away from him slightly and grinned.

"Damn, are you greedy.." I breathed against his lips.

"For you? I always have been." And with that, he pressed his lips to mine again.
