TW: Brutality (?)

The day was stressful. Well, not that stressful, but i'm still exhausted. I worked as a temp at Griddy's Donuts and it was really busy today. I said goodbye to Agnes, grabbed my bag and coffee, and left the store. The cool evening air blows against my nose as I step onto the street. I leisurely made my way home. On the way I noticed how the lanterns flickered on. I turned a corner and almost dropped my coffee. Under the next lantern were dark figures, people with children's masks. It felt like they were waiting for me because they were looking right in my direction. I quickly turned back in the other direction.

"Hey little one." one of the two men shouted and I quickened my steps.

"Hey! Stop. We just want to talk to you!" shouted the other and I could hear them chasing me. I walked down the street hoping the guys would stay away from me. When I wasn't paying attention for a moment and pulled out my cell phone to call home, when I banged into something. I looked up and I saw that one of the two guys was standing right in front of me.

"Hey, why are you running away from us, little one?" I took a step backwards, but I slammed into the other guy standing right behind me. Before I could react, he wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. I kicked around and started screaming wildly.

"Nobody hears you here, little mouse." said the other laughing. Suddenly I heard a female voice calling out:

"It's enough! You should only capture her, and not scare her." a woman said and came into my view. It was a tall woman, with blond hair, and a fancy dress with a matching hat. She took off her sunglasses (although it was already dark) and took a few steps towards me. The two men released me at her command and took a few steps back.

"I'm very sorry, Y/n Darling. These two haven't been with us long and they can be real bullies." she said and sighed.

"H-How do you know my name?" My voice was shaking. But she just smiled at me.

"You know, Y/n. We need your help." she said, pulling a cigarette out of her purse, which she then put on a stick and put to her lips.

"Even if I have to disappoint you, I can't help you." I hissed, picking up my phone which I had dropped on the floor earlier.

"Oh no. I think you can help uns very well." she said, and the next thing I remembered was a punch to the back of my head, and then blacking out.

When I woke up again, a sharp pain shot through my head. When I tried to raise my hand, I couldn't move it. I tried to move my other hand, or my legs, but it didn't work. I was captivated by something. I shook my bonds frantically, but it just didn't help. I started screaming, but my mouth was also taped shut so I couldn't hear a word. I sat in this chair for quite a while, alone in this unlit room. Suddenly I heard a creaking and noticed the door opening. I started screaming and tearing at my bonds again. But all I heard was a soft chuckle, and then the light went on. I narrowed my eyes as the unexpected light stung my eyes. When I could open my eyes again, I saw the blond woman from before standing in front of me.

"Did you sleep well?" she asked and smiled crookedly at me. I tried to say something.

"Oh yes right." She ran towards me and violently tore the tape from my mouth. She was so close to me I could smell her perfume.

"You're sick." I growled and glared at her.

"Oh, I hear that often." She seemed bored.

"Do you know why we brought you here, Y/n?" I didn't answer her and glared at her.

"We need information. About a person you know well. And you will give us that information." she said grinning.

"What if I don't know him?" I said irritably.

"One Word.. Five." My eye widened. What did he have to do with this one? Yes, Five has done many things, but what does all this have to do with me?

"Ah. So you do know him? How wonderful." With that, she happily clapped her hands.

"Tell me everything you know." She leaned her hands on the arms of the chair. But becouse my arms were tied on them, she clawed my skin with her nails. I tried to ignore it as best as possible.

"And why should I?" She got even closer to me. So close I could smell her perfume.

"If you don't do what we tell you, we'll have to kill you." Shocked, i looked up at her. Her grin widened.

"And we really have no problem with that." Then she smiled crookedly at me again. When she moved away from me, I reached out and banged my head against hers as hard as I could. She staggered back, saw the blood dripping from her nose, and shook her head in disappointment.

"I really thought you weren't like that, Y/n. I thought we could talk normally." she said and sighed.

"You're so sick-"

"Yeah, save that for another time." she said and waved her hand in the air disinterestedly.

"Jay! Will you come please?" My eyes widened as a masked man entered the room. In his hand a suitcase.

"Jay's taking care of you now, ok?" She talks to me like a toddler. She turned around and was already in the doorway when she stopped and turned to me briefly.

"By the way, my name is The Handler. Just in case you should call me. You're going to be spending a lot of time in here, Y/n." she said and giggled again. As she disappeared behind the door, the man in the mask slammed the suitcase onto the table. He opened it and I got more and more nervous. When he then reached into the suitcase and pulled out a knife, I began to wrestle with the bonds. He walked towards me and then swung back.
