These Devildom classes are crazy different in content... I can't really complain about it since it's pretty fun in comparison to the shit I had to deal with in the human world or back at home I should say (though it kinda feels like home here too). I might just be giving it more praise than I should though considering they're basically still incredibly difficult - maybe even more so? Heh, should I tell Diavolo that? I bet it'd make him happy to hear that. Still though... How much more school do I have to go through..? I was practically finished at my high school. I just needed like one or two more exams until I could completely call it quits since classes were no longer going but nope... Of course not. Whatever, it's the end of the day, and I have homework to do. Homework, homework, HOMEWORK. You know, at least because they're trying to learn about humans as well, we get a music class. I have some homework for that that I actually look forward to. Today's piano! I'll save that for last and get to the other lessons' studies first. Shouldn't be so bad... Potions and stuff.
I try to slowly walk back to the House of Lamentation, delaying the inevitable of having to work more after class. That fucking homework. Unfortunately, I can't even get my procrastination going on since I'm being hurried by one of the biggest procrastinators: Mammon.
"Y/N! It's gettin' pretty late and you're still here?! Come on, let's go home," he grabs me by the arm and drags me as I try hard to hold myself back and stay put in my position. "What's up?! We should go before it gets even more dangerous," he keeps trying to drag me back.
"Um... Actually, Mammon, I kinda wanna stroll and take my long ass time getting back... home," I say shyly since calling a mansion filled with an entire family of its own "home" felt a bit awkward still, even after being with them for so long.
"Uhh, why," he says with a very confused face.
"I don't wanna go just yet. I'm just a bit tired, so I was hoping to chill outside a bit by walking really slowly to avoid doing homework," I laugh, explaining the homework part in a bit of embarrassment.
"Ugh, fine. I guess I have no choice but to babysit you again. You know you can't be out here unless you're with THE Mammon, right!? It's way too dangerous for a mere lil' human like yourself!"
"Yeah, yeah, thanks even though I wanted to be alone," I look away from him. I sigh and continue my bothered walk. He's just a bit too noisy for me. I'm loud... like really fucking loud when I get excited and happy, but to be like that all the time? It's exhausting to be around him so much. Soon, though, soon I'll get my piece of mind at midnight.
We enter the mansion and immediately I'm smothered by Asmodeus, as he's been waiting for me to arrive. Only me since I could just feel his glare toward Mammon despite my face being buried in his chest.
I gently push him away as he yells, "What took you so long to bring them back!?"
"Geez! Why're ya yellin' at me for?! They're the ones who wanted to take a long damn time to get back," he annoyedly explained putting his hands up.
Of course he exposes me. In my defense, I try to calmly tell Asmo exactly what I told Mammon. He looks at me a bit sad as if there was something wrong with me, but nevertheless, he cheerfully brings me to the dining room by hugging me from behind the whole way. As usual, Mammon protested his "way too close" actions towards me. I didn't mind though. I really don't mind all this physical affection I get from all of them, even if it does hurt or annoy me a bit. It's a small comfort.
I sit down at my usual place at the table and take small portions of a few foods. I sigh and plop myself on the chair to eat. I'm a bit upset that I came to the dining table with my school uniform. I always hated wearing the uniform back at home in the human world, and it's honestly no different here. So damn restricting and just the literal uniform of stress to always be on you - even at home?! Ugh, no. Satan notices my attitude and asks if I'm okay. I'm a bit shocked at his notice, but I just chuckle it off, give him a smile, and reassure him that I'm fine, just feeling a bit tired was all. He gave me a smile back, so I continue to eat away my stress. Overall, it was a regular night of just light talk and the short arguments from the brothers every now and then. I dismiss myself from the table to go to my room.
