Lucifer's P. O. V.:

These incessant thoughts just keep getting worse the closer I get to the Demon Lord's Castle. Y/N with Diavolo... The whole weekend together alone... I'm blowing this out of proportion. I have to be. Otherwise, what was that kiss? What kind of lies did that portray? And a fool I was to - no. I know I don't have to worry, so I shouldn't be worrying. Y/N was supposed to be... They were supposed to be...

I arrived here faster than I thought. Greeted by Barbatos at the front, he tells me Y/N's things will be brought to the House of Lamentation tomorrow since they bought many things to carry back tonight. Not long after Y/N and Diavolo come together outside, seeming to be finishing off a conversion and laughing together. They're awfully touchy... No, get it together.

"Lucifer! You're here! It's nice to see you? How was your weekend?"

"It was fine, thank you."

"I'd agree, but it wouldn't be true. I had the best time with Y/N! I'm honestly a bit envious that you get to have the fun exchange student, haha!"

"Sometimes they do get on my nerves when they conspire pranks with my brothers. I wouldn't want to see you bothered in such a way."

"I think that would be fun! I wouldn't mind. Well, it's getting quite late. I should leave you two to head off."

Diavolo takes a few steps back, so Y/N can come forward. Smiling, he waves us off; Y/N, however, seems to be surprised and gives him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Surprised myself at their actions, I tell Diavolo I'll be seeing him tomorrow at school, walking off soon to be out of his sight. Y/N quickly catches up to me, looking at me with an innocent smile. I can barely look at them right now, so I just give them a glance. Did that kiss mean nothing? Sure it was on the cheek but still... The continuation of their kiss was never supposed to be anybody but me, yet their mouth landed on someone else. They keep talking.

Y/N's P. O. V.:

"Hey, Lucifer! Don't get mad - 'cause I totally would - but Diavolo made me his best friend too," I shy away from him, expecting an angry reaction.

After a few seconds of not getting anything, I carefully look at him. It's like he didn't hear me?

"Hey Lucifer! What's wrong," I stare at him, hoping for a response.

Nothing. Nothing? Is he really ignoring me?

"Hey Lucifer! Yoohoo, are you angry? What's wrong," my voice sounds a little more hurt as he doesn't even look at me to give me a silent answer.

Still no response? Still no response?! I can't tell if he's ignoring me or not. He has a blank expression on his face. Maybe he's thinking. Work probably?

"Hey Lucifeerrr," I grab his arm, leaning my head on it as I fake cry.

He noticeably looks angry now. Assuming he got angry from me touching him, I quickly let go. I dejectedly look up at him, but it's like he's pretending I'm not next to him. I was just about to get his attention again before he let out a frustrated sigh, pinching his fingers to his nose furrowing his eyebrows. He puts his hands in his pockets (surprisingly more intimidating than laid back compared to his usual crossed arms), walking a bit faster. At least he's not pushing me away? I try to keep up, but I slow down a lot looking at the area we were in. I didn't notice this whole time I was trying to get his attention that we weren't going the usual route back to the House of Lamentation. I look around seeing demons lurking in the corners of alleyways, not knowing where we are. The air feels misty as well.

"Hey Lucifer, did you need to go somewhere? I'm not exactly sure where we are. Diavolo never took me here," I say, a bit worried, wanting to hold him for security.
