Chap 14.

Matt Pov🪞

I ran downstairs, making as much noise as possible. When I got to the bottom, I saw Todd and my old friend Tord playing Uno. Todd looked up. "Ginger?" I stared at them both and pulled out a guitar. "Y'all want to hear a song?" It sounded stupid, but that was Mark's plan. To distract them. Both of them got up, Todd pulling out a knife. "Sure!~ I wanna hear, "Scream and Run!~" I smiled and nodded. "Okay!" I threw the guitar at them and ran off screaming. That should buy them some time. I'm so good at my job.

Mark Pov📚

As soon as the psychos ran off, Eddie slowly carried me downstairs. My ankle was getting better, but not to a point where I could walk. I hung onto him as he slowly pushed open the front double doors and into the forest. When we were far enough away from the building, Eddie sat me down and looked behind. "You sure he'll be okay?.." I nodded. "It's Matt. He's perfect." He rolled his eyes and went back to watching. 

"I'm P E R F E C T?!" I turned and noticed Matt. His hair was a mess and had a bunch of twigs and leaves in it. I limped to him and hugged him. "Yes, you are. Well done!" I gave him a soft kiss, to which he eagerly returned. Eddie must have noticed our little moment, because he pulled us both apart. "Stop making out. We still need to get home. Continue kissing there." I blushed and cleared my throat, taking Matt by the hand. "Your right. Let's-" I didn't finish. What interrupted me was a searing pain in my back. I looked down and noticed the blade. 

I heard both Matt and Eddie scream, as I coughed up my own blood. I looked at both of them, giving them a weak smile. "Look guys..I'm pretty now.." That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

Matt Pov🪞

I watched as Mark fell to the ground. He was dead, no doubt about it...

"Oopsie!~"

I stared up at his murderer. Todd giggled and licked the blood off the knife. "I meant to get his heart. But this will do!~" I wanted to scream and strangle him. But I couldn't. I didn't want to end up like Mark..but I wanted revenge..Maybe he was still alive..Eddie tugged me from behind. "Let's go. There's nothing we can do..." I looked back at Todd, but he seemed to have disappeared. I grabbed Mark's body. "We shouldn't leave him here. That isn't right.." I hung back onto Eddie, clutching Mark's lifeless body to me. I stroked his soft hair,  tears pouring down my face, as Eddie took off.

I'm alone..
