"I'm so glad your home Dad, I want to come back and see you. Maybe go out like we use to.." Samantha said on speaker phone,while putting a bathrobe on her bare body after her lavished shower.
"Your old man can't go to anymore concerts if that's what your implying. No more Stone temple pilots or Foo Fighter's for me." He joked. Remembering the last time he had done anything together with his daugther ,was when she was a teenager. Rebellious and young. Right before he had met his now wife ,Kim. Kim the cougar.
She walked over to her bed an took a seat, closed her eyes briefly, thinking about how precious time really is. She could have lost her father days ago! But he's here! A SECOND chance.
"I know, I know. But maybe we could go out to a movie or a golfing? Ride the ferry? Anything really Dad. I just want to spend time together again. Im not getting younger sir." She teased trying to add humor to this profound topic.
"I'll ask Kim if she wants to join--"
"Kim!? Really? Why?" Sam asked aggravated. "I don't want to be around her dad, she I so disrespectful towards me, she treats me like I'm not even your daughter. I'll be honest with you, I cussed her ass out at the hospital. I don't want to aee her for awhile!"

"She told me about that part... I also told her that you had every right to be pissed off that you couldn't be there.I appreciate that you were there sweetie. You and your "friend".. Andrew?" He asked trying to recall what Kim had called the 'tall and brooding ' man that accompanied his daughter.

"Kim told you about Adam!?" She panics at what her big mouthed step mother could had said to her dad.
"Yep. She told me to expect trouble from this guy, mentioned he was a biker." Her dad's voice sounded very protective now.

"Kim is so full of it! He's harmless, I'm actually going to see him-- in a play tonight. He's a actor. He's very talented. I want you to meet him one day.. " she said proudly.
