"I'm really want to see how this guild fight turns out," Nashi said.

"I'm scared," Emma admitted. "There's a reason armed conflict between guilds is banned by the Magic Council."

"We're probably about to see why they made that rule," Reiki said. "Nova, play it already."

She did, skipping through the opening stuff.

The East Forest...

Lucy: (voiceover) Hidden away in Magnolia's East Forest, you'll find a tree house where an old friend of Master Makarov lives. Porlyusica is a highly skilled healer, but she lives a life of seclusion because of her hatred of mankind. Her specialty is in the treatment of ailments that were caused by magic. Which is why the Master has been brought to her.

"Never heard of her," Rin said.

"Aunt Wendy does all that now," Sylvia added.

Porlyusica poured a green liquid in a beaker. Makarov lay on a bed, covered by leaves like a blanket, and green and sweaty. Bisca and Alzack watched quietly off to the side.

Porlyusica slapped Makarov across the face.

"Um, what?" Gale blinked.

"She's a childhood friend of Gramps'," Nova shrugged.

Alzack: What did you do that for?

Bisca: Hey! We wanted you to cure our master, not make him worse.

Porlyusica: It's what he deserves for pushing himself so hard at his age. Honestly, you're such an old fool.

She suddenly glared at the wizards.

Porlyusica: Don't you think you should be leaving now? I'm sick of looking at you!

"I like her," Eugene grinned.

"She's scary," Becky shuddered.

They flinched but stayed put.

Alzack: Well, can you at least tell us what his condition is?

Bisca: We want to help you take care of him.

Porlyusica: Just go home. Those ridiculously worried faces of yours will only aggravate his condition.

Alzack and Bisca looked at each other.

Porlyusica: These symptoms suggest a powerful wind spell was used. My guess, the spell known as "Drain." This terrible spell drain its victim of all their magic abilities. Their powers then drift along the winds until they have dissipated completely. If only you'd gathered Makarov's powers when they were initially drained, he could have recovered quickly. But as things stand now, it'll take quite a bit longer.

"Yikes," Luke whistled. "No wonder he's down for the count."

"It's classified as a forbidden spell now," Emma said.

Alzack: How long do you think?

Bisca: I'm sure the others will want to know.

Porlyusica snapped at them and chased them out with a broom. Makarov lay oblivious, obviously having difficulty breathing. Once the sharpshooters were gone, the healer returned to his side.

"Yeah, she seems like fun," Eugene said.

"I didn't know you have a type, cousin," Nova smirked.

"I know you don't want to go there, cousin," he shot back.
