Chapter 1: Ranger Greetings

"We're going the wrong way!"

"No, we're not."

"We missed our turn!"

"I'm looking at the map."

"You have the map upside down."

"Enough!" Cam ripped the map from Dustin, "Zoey's instructions said that even Dustin could understand them. Obviously, she was mistaken."

Laughing at the pout on the Earth Ninja's face, Shane patted him on the shoulder, "Come on, guys. Give him a break. He's anxious. He hasn't seen Raina in over a month."

"Yeah, he's practically jumping out of his skin back here." Hunter said, behind his brother.

"And you're not?" Blake said, sitting in front with Tori, "Leanne said that outside of your classes, you've kind of become a grouch."

"Tori, you need to make a right turn at the next light. We need to back track the other direction. We missed our turn about ten miles back." The genius said, reading the map.

"Told you, dude." Shane grinned. "Buck up. We'll get there soon."

"Yeah. Especially since, technically we're not supposed to be there until tomorrow." Tori commented from the front. "It was nice of Sensei to let us leave a day early."

"Yeah. It'll be a nice surprise for the others."

At the Angel Grove Youth Center, tables had been set-up with food and snacks. The room was a flurry of activity, trying to get things set up for everyone.

"Aeson James! Put that down!" Emily Scott, wife of the original Red Ranger, ran over to grab a bag of chips away from her son, "It is not time to eat yet. We have to wait for everyone to get here. Now go play with the other kids."

Shaking her head, she looked over at Katherine Cranston, who was holding her eight-month-old daughter, Willa. "That's going to be her in two years."

Laughing, Kat pulled her hair out of her daughter's hands, "She's already like that." The former Pink Ranger grinned before turning toward her husband, "Your turn. I'm gonna help bring out the rest of the food." When his wife left, Billy sat down to feed his daughter.

Jason walked over, with his daughter Eden clinging to his leg. "Come on sweetheart. Go back over and play with the others."

"No!"

"The ultimate daddy's girl." Emily shook her head with a smile and went to the back.

"Ain't that the truth." He sighed, bent over and picked Eden up, "Okay, baby girl. I'll make you a promise. You go play, and behave, I'll buy you a new outfit when we go to the carnival. How does that sound?"
