Hope ran towards the nearest phone booth. She quickly dialled the emergency number and waited. Soon she got a response.

"What's your emergency?" asked the operator on the other side. Hope quickly answered in a panic.

"There's a house on fire," said Hope.

"Okay. Where are you and is anyone hurt?"

Hope gave the location before staying silent on the last part.

"Okay. Is anyone hurt?"

"Th-there's a person living in the house," said Hope.

"Okay. Stay calm. Help is on the way," said the operator. The call was cut and Hope exited the phone booth. She looked at the burning house.

"She definitely didn't make it," she said to herself. Sirens could be heard and Hope turned to the direction it came from. Firefighters were on their way. Behind them trailed an ambulance. Hope watched as the firefighters quickly jumped into action in controlling the fire.

The medical staffs were on stand by for any casualties. Hope watched from a far as the firefighters battled the flames. The flames that would have killed Hope if she didn't redirect it to the witch.

Hope could just leave but didn't. She wanted to make sure Ena was found dead. She wanted all her efforts to be a success. It took a while. By the time the flames were out. There was nothing left of the house.

It was completely burnt to the ground. The firefighters took a look around the house. Hope from a far saw no trace of Ena. 'She couldn't escape ... could she?' All the thoughts were however stopped when she saw the firefighter pulling out whatever remains of Ena.

Hope felt like fainting. It was horrible. Her body was completely burnt to ash and some parts were still not burnt yet. Hope looked away already getting her answer. 'Yup ... she's dead.'

For some reason, Hope decided to walk back to the house. She looked at the firefighters who were talking among themselves.

"W-was a-anyone home?" asked Hope to the firefighter. They were quiet for a moment before one of them spoke.

"We found a dead burnt body," he said. "Was that your friend?"

Hope stayed silent. "W-was. I d-didn't know s-she would actually do this."

"Do what?"

"S-suicide," Hope lied. She didn't know why she did it but she did.

"I'm sorry for your lost." Hope nodded before turning away. She walked for a distance before looking back. The firefighters and ambulance were leaving the place. Hope walked back home. As she got closer to her house, she got a headache.
