Her headache stopped for a while. Hope stopped by a shop and bought herself a new bag and lighter as the other ones were burnt down with the house.

Hope soon reached home and ran up to her bedroom. Her headache returning a little. She reached for her phone and checked the news. The news about Ena's death spread like wild fire.

"How?" she thought. "Whatever." She read the messages sent to her group chat for school.

Attention to all students ... we have sad news. One of our fellow students, Ena was found dead in a burning house. Her death was classified as suicide.

Hope felt relived. No one knew about the true cause of her death. Her headache became worst. Her hands clutched the side of her head. Her eyes went to the watch.

The watch started to crumble. It felt onto the floor like it was sand. That was when Hope realised. By killing Ena in the past, she wouldn't meet her in the future. That meant she was stuck in her past.

Her headache became worst. Hope crashed into her bed. The pain became worst. All Hope could think off was what was going to happen.

Hope didn't know what was going on. Images of the events of her friends death flashed before her eyes before being erased. Everything she went through in the future was being erased. The memories were being wiped out.

The memory of going back in time. Gone. The memory of going to see the witch, Ena. Gone. One by one the memories were deleted. Eventually, she collapsed on her bed. She fell into her slumber.

Beep! Beep! Hope's phone rang. She twisted and turned around her bed before getting up. She looked at the caller ID. Mallory. Her hand reached for the phone and pressed the receive call button.

"Hello?" Hope answered. Her head was still a little dizzy. She couldn't remember what happened. The last thing she remembered was going to Ena's house and saw it caught on fire.

"Hope~ where are you? Don't you remember?" came Mallory's voice from the other side.

"Hmm?" Hope started thinking. "Oh yea. I will be there in twenty minutes."

The call ended and Hope got out of bed. She felt weird. It was as though she was forgetting something but she ignored it. She walked out the door and left her house.

Hope walked all the way to Maya's house. She was waiting at the pavement. She looked at the cars stopping as the traffic light turned red. People started crossing and she felt a little nervous. She didn't know why but it felt familiar.

Familiar in a sense where she felt scared. It was as though she expected something to happen. Hope brushed the feeling off and crossed the road. Soon enough, she reached Maya's house.

She knocked on the door and was greeted by Ember. "Great your here. Finally."

Hope smiled. "Yea ... sorry about that."

"Come on in then. We didn't start the game without you."

Hope entered and saw her friends. For some reason she felt extremely happier than usual just seeing them alive.
