The meeting lasted for quite a while, Azriel and Eric had meeting together. The collaboration was finalized everything worked out great. The meeting itself was quite informal but both of them were dead serious while discussing business.
However, it seemed like some odd feelings have already taken birth in Azriel’s and Sara's hearts. Was it the beginning of something new in their lives?
As Azriel and Sara were leaving, Eric caught Sara's hand and asked her to stop for a while. She felt certain shocked goosebumps after hearing this. Azriel was making an annoyed face towards Eric for some reason. Eric then said, "Miss Sara, I am immensely amazed by your presentation today. Therefore, here is a bouquet from my side with a small gift inside for you." Sara was smiling at Eric on hearing her praise by him but somewhere she wanted to leave from there quickly.
She said, "Thank you so much for the appreciation Mr. Eric but I would like to apologize. I cannot accept this gift. You are very humble but I just did my duty as asked by Mr. Azriel." On the other hand Eric was also kinda stubborn and Sara somehow agreed to accept the bouquet but not the gift. Azriel was observing the whole situation and for some reason was frowning at Eric but as soon as he heard his name from Sara he smiled at her.
It was almost 10pm .The meeting lasted longer than expected as Eric was Azriel’s friend. Azriel and Sara left together in the car and this time Azriel was driving and Sara sat on the front seat with him.
Both of them were quite for a while. Sara was just gazing at the beautiful night view outside and Azriel was simply driving. Both of them felt awkward and Sara realized this, she spoke first, "Thank you so much Mr. Azriel. Today I got to go for my first ever meeting and I did great in my presentation too, all thanks to your guidance And Confidence in me."
Azriel then replied, "Sara, I don't think you should thank me because you already had the capability to present well. It even amused me how well you presented, not to forget it's your first time."
Sara felt so happy to hear this that she was literally smiling at Azriel which made Azriel's heart flutter for the first time.
Azriel's POV
I can't believe Sara has such a beautiful smile. It is just like the blooming of special red roses in the spring season. Her eyes are glistening like the sparkling diamonds. And wait .. Why is my heart even beating so fast? What am I even thinking? OH MY GOD!!
