After what felt like lifetime but by six in the evening I got discharged from the hospital. I thought of meeting my bestie, Olivia. I reached home and I can say I was feeling much better than before ‘cause the hospital smell was killing me and making me sicker'.
I was sitting in the main living room along with my parents when Jess came rushing down and hugged me real tight. She got all upset but once we settled saying that she was all doing fine job when she saw me fainting and didn’t know what to do. I calmed her down and both of us started joking around for a while. Its sisters’ love what can i say.
I had already told my parents about my plans for the evening and my dad insisted to drop me at her café.
Olivia owns a café called, “Bonjour Café” and I can say the snacks are just yum out there. Those croissants are beauty of this city. It was quite cold outside due to the heavy rainfall from last two nights so I thought of wearing something warm. I wore my denim jeans and a Zara sweatshirt along with my white canvas and grabbed Burberry cream coat too. I was now ready to go out!
Montmartre, where the best Cafes are located and it’s really close to my place. I could have walked but dad insisted to drop me of due to whole fainting and whatnot. I arrived there shortly.
I did not tell her prior about me coming because I wanted to surprise her. I reached the counter to see Riana and Jacob who are the part-time workers out here as they are still in high school. Riana exclaimed with joy, “Sara!” and I pointed her out to be quiet. Both of them were really happy to see me and I felt the same. At times the four of us would hangout and play really funny games. It feels good to be around young people!
Riana went to serve the customers while I asked Jacob about Olivia. He said, “There is a private booking today, she has been on her toes all day working . You came on the right time. Help her out, she seems a little stressed about it.” I headed towards the room. It’s actually like, in Olivia’s café they also have a private room for special gatherings so the customers have option, either to book the whole café or just that room.
I entered the room and found her holding some flowers when I shouted,”Bonjour!” . She was in complete surprise and directly came over to hug me. It had been quite a long since we met. She exclaimed with joy, “hey! You finally came huh. I am just so happy to see you. But wait you look quite dull, everything alright love?”.
I said, “Will tell you everything in detail but right now let me help you.” She gave me that killing look. Me and Olivia have been best friends , since we were like ten. She used to my neighbor, my classmate and the very special friend I have ever made. But she moved when we were in high school and yet we have been best friends forever. It took us around forty-five minutes to arrange everything for the customer’s party. As the party was to be held at 8pm we had some free time. So we asked Jacob to bring us two cups of cappacino in the private hall. She seemed really worried about me so I explained her everything from the start, about the car incident, then my e-mail and regarding the job interview as well. She did not accept about the contract too which made me quite sad. She was giving me typical surprise looks when I was telling her everything. She then said, “Sara, this much happened and you didn’t even speak a word about it to me. That’s rude gal! And also you got discharged today only ,then why are you here?” I replied, ”I wanted to meet you so bad that’s why .” Grabbing the cup of my coffee which had the perfect sugar ratio according to me. Olivia said with a very concerned face,” Hey Sara, it’s alright. You see there are many other companies who just give a six months contract. You should be happy to be working one of the most famous companies of France. So you are getting all drained for no reason. Just calm down your senses.” I just couldn’t say anything for a while and simply hugged her,” saying, “Thank you Oly! You are the best like always.” Olivia always makes me feel better in my hard times and I do the same for her. We share our hearts out with each other without any filters and apparently shame . It was already around 8, so I had to leave as I also have to go to work tomorrow. We finished our coffee, chit-chatting and came out . I thanked Oly, Jacob and Riana and soon my dad was there to pick me up. After reaching home, I had dinner and was simply off to my bed as I really needed the rest.
