Chapter 10: Riddler

Y/N's POV

I am in my room. I get a text from Barbara.

Barbara: Hey.

I text back.

Y/N: Hey.

Barbara: How are you feeling?

Y/N: Still getting over what happened.

There was a long pause. Then she texted back.

Barbara: I'm sorry about what happened to Fox.

Y/N: Thank you... I still miss him.

Barbara: Remember, if you ever need something, I'm always here for you, okay?

Y/N: I know...

I text one more thing.

Y/N: I promise... one day, we'll leave this city... together. I just need to get something done first. Some business to take care of...

Barbara: I know... I hope you do whatever you need to do.

She texts me one more thing.

Barbara: I love you.

Y/N: I love you too.

After I finish texting with Barbara, Bruce texts me.

Bruce: Suit up.

Y/N: Did you find him?

Bruce: On a ship at Gotham Bay.

Y/N: Got it.

I head to the batcave and suit up.

Timeskip

We arrive at the Lady of Dublin. Batman uses his drone to confirm the right ship.

Alfred: Armed men on board. This must be it. Be careful, Bruce and Y/N. Who knows what the Riddler has up his sleeve.

Me and Batman glide down to the ship. We land on the bottom deck. Batman grabs one of Riddler's men and throws him into the water.

Batman: We're on board, Al.

Alfred: Do you see Riddler?

We hear talking.

???: You won't get away with this. What do you think is going to happen.

Riddler: Making noise again, are we? Agent... what is your name? Blake?

Robin: We hear him.

Batman: We need to get a better angle.

We sneak up, we see Riddler.

Robin: We found him. But there's no sign of missiles.

Batman: They're here somewhere.

We see more of the death machines.

Robin: Hostages.

Alfred: They appear to be more of Waller's agents.

Batman: Agents Avesta and Blake must be among them.

We get behind some crates. We then to continue to sneak closer to the Riddler.

Riddler: It's clear you're in desperate need of some schooling.

The machines get electrified.

Riddler: My friends will be here soon. I'd keep your mouths shut until then.
