Y/N's POV

I am back at Wayne Manor. Bruce is currently undercover with the Pact to figure out their plans. Since I'm standing here doing nothing. I decide to call Barbara.

Barbara: Hello?

Y/N: Hey, Barbara.

Barbara: Hey. How are you doing?

Y/N: I'm doing better. I have some time off, until I get called that is.

Barbara: Oh...

Y/N: But I'm sitting over here at the manor bored. Maybe I can come over?

Barbara: Yeah sure. I also wanted to spar again.

Y/N: Really?

Barbara: Yeah.

Y/N: Okay, I'll be over.

Barbara: Okay, bye. I love you.

Y/N: I love you too.

Timeskip

I arrive at Barbara's place. I knock on the door and wait for her to answer. She then opens the door.

Barbara: Hey there.

We share a quick kiss before she takes me inside.

Barbara: You ready for another sparring match?

I decide to play with her.

Y/N: I think I'm more ready than you.

Barbara: Oh? Ha. We'll see.

We head down to the basement, where we last spared. We stand in the middle of the training area, we got ourselves in right attires for sparing. The room is filled with various training equipment, including punching bags and mats. I stretch my arms and crack a smile while looking over at Barbara.

Y/N: Ready to spar, Barbara?

Barbara nods.

Barbara: Absolutely. Show me what you've got, Y/N.

I take a step back, getting into a defensive stance, while Barbara readies herself for our sparring match. We start circling each other, eyes locked, measuring each others movements. I make the first move, launching lots of quick jabs towards Barbara, testing her reflexes. She evades the punches. Barbara then tries to hit me with a strong kick aimed at my midsection, but I block it just in time, countering with a strike of my own. The spar intensifies as we exchange blows, pushing each other to our limits. I manage to land a solid hit, causing Barbara to stumble back slightly. I get concerned and I immediately pause.

Y/N: You okay, Barbara?

Barbara nods, regaining her composure.

Barbara: I'm fine. Keep going. Don't hold back.

I nod. We continue to spar, our movements become more synchronized. As we continue, we begin to anticipate each other's moves, seamlessly countering and defending each others attacks.

Y/N: You've really improved, Barbara. Your agility and speed are remarkable.

Barbara smiles, sweat glistening on her forehead.

Barbara: Thanks, Y/N.

Our spar draws to a close, us both panting and exhilarated from the intense workout from our sparing match. We share a moment of silence, catching our breath. I then extend a hand to her.

Y/N: You did great, Barbara. You've gotten better since the last time we sparred.

She accepts my hand, a hint of a blush coloring her cheeks.
