Chapter 18 : Embarrassed

Jungwon went to the canteen, excited to ask Riki to have lunch together again. He approached the younger, but was quickly saddened when he got rejected by him.

"Sorry hyung, i'm hanging with my other friend today."

"Oh it's okay..." Jungwon said and quietly left. He purchased his food and sat at a close distance from Riki. Watching him and his friend eating happily, talking, laughing. He was jealous but there was nothing he could do.

Riki went for a walk with his friend after eating, Jungwon although not finished, cleared his tray and followed them. Trailing them as though he was invisble. However, he wasn't and Riki noticed him when he was trying to hide behind a pillar.

"Wait for me. I'm going to ask him what he wants." Riki said to his friend before approaching Jungwon who was about to run away.

"Why are you following us..." Riki asked and to which Jungwon did not respond.

"Hyung, answer me."

"I just happened to be walking the same way that's all!"

"Uhm, I'm pretty sure you were following us... if you were walking, you didn't need to hide or run."

Jungwon had nothing to say, he knew he can't escape from the accusation. "Okay I was following you, please don't be angry..."

"Why were you following me?", asked Riki.

"Because I want to!" Jungwon exclaimed before running off in embarrassment. He was not about to let the younger find out about his feeling this way and so soon. But well, Riki was both confused and unconcerned. He went back to his friend and shrugged when he asked why Jungwon was following him.

Both ignoring the fact that the senior had ran off after getting questioned. Maybe they didn't think there was a need to care or well for Riki, he decided to not go after him to give the older some space that he seemed to need.

After school, Riki couldn't get Jungwon out of his mind.
What did he want? Why did he want to follow him? So many questions flooded his mind, he was curious. He didn't have the older's number but he knew Jungwon was rather well known in school so he searched through social media. He found his Instagram account and he was impressed.

Filled with model-like photos, some singing and dance videos in his reels and daily posts on his Instagram story. But of which, he was most impressed by his talents. He never knew his hyung was such an amazing singer.

All his mind could think of was to have a collaboration, he could dance while the older sings, both of which are skills they ace in. But he wasn't sure how to send the text, not sure how to phrase his words. He wanted to ask about earlier, but also to collaborate.
Yet he thought, pursuing the issue then requesting something from him wouldn't be nice.

He decided to let go of what happened earlier temporarily, he sent Jungwon a message telling him who he was and suggesting his idea to the older. Jungwon who was embarrassed over what had happened, left Riki on seen.

Riki felt bitter, he didn't know why Jungwon wouldn't reply him but then again, he understood that perhaps him persistently questioning him earlier made him upset. So, he quickly sent an apology text. And again, Jungwon left it on seen.

Riki got anxious, what if Jungwon is mad at him? What if Jungwon doesn't like him anymore? What if Jungwon never wants to talk to him again?

He's not going to let that happen, Jungwon was one of the few people he could trust, he's not intending to let Jungwon just escape.

Spamming Jungwon's DMs with apologies and more, Jungwon finally replies.

-"It's fine, I'm not angry at you or anything. More that i am embarrassed. And the collab, sure."

-"YAY!"

-"When do you want to do this?"

-"Anytime you're free."

-"Tomorrow? After school? At the school's dance studio?"

-"Ok! See you there hyung!"

Riki was more than excited and Jungwon? He's kicking his blanket freaking out that he will be spending time with Riki, and it's going to be just the two of them.
