'' I'm leaving!'' Karma's shouts ring throughout the foyer as I walk out of my office.

Walking out of my office I passed by a painting that was slightly off. Pausing, I take the time to adjust it before ignoring it and letting the thought of leaving it untouched fester in my mind all day.

I met Karma by the door, reaching for the knob before she could and twisted. Karma stopped in front of me, standing on her toes to kiss my cheeks softly.

'' That's it?'' I squawked in outrage.

That was all I was going to be given? A measly peck on the cheek.

That wouldn't do.

Before she could step over the threshold, I wrapped my arm fully around Karma's waist and yanked her into my body. Her shocked gasp was cut off as I placed my lips over hers, kissing her passionately as she melted into my hold. Karma tried to keep up but I controlled the kiss, stealing her breath with each thrust of my tongue inside of her mouth.

When I finally did pull away, her eyes were closed and lips plump. I kissed her lips softly once more, letting her go and patting her ass that was hugged nicely in her workout leggings.

'' What time will you be back?'' I asked. '' I'm going over to Antonio's for a bit just in case you get back before I do.'' I inform her, her hand lingering on the doorknob as she nods her head in acknowledgement.

'' After my class I arranged to have some buildings looked at for a potential office. I should be home a little after lunch.'' She concludes. '' I love you. See you when I get back.''

'' I love you too.'' I smile, watching as she disappears behind the door. Walking over to the window that shows you a view of the driveway, I watch as she gets into her car and drives off.

Turning on my heels, I head to the kitchen and grab a cold bottle of gatorade before heading back to my office to finish up some work.

'' Should I prepare something for lunch?'' Mabel, my chef pops out from the double doors leading into the industrial kitchen.

It didn't get that much use like the one at the manor. We had men over at the manor at all times, some of them even staying on the grounds. The chefs there cooked enough to feed a whole fucking army, and we were enough as it as a family.

But Mabel was my personal chef who cooked when I didn't have the time or occasionally the energy.

'' I'll just take a sandwich to go in about an hour.'' I said, checking the watch on my wrist.

'' You're favorite?'' She asked.

'' You know my heart, Mable.'' I pointed as I headed out of the kitchen and back down the hallway that I'd emerged from a few minutes ago.
