Karma Ali
'' How did I not know that we had a gym here?'' I questioned, following Alessio across the back lawn.
Alessio chuckled, looking at me over his shoulder as we headed towards the glass building that was too far into the woods for my liking. '' Well, you do spend the majority of your days in the library, kitchen, and bedroom. There's so much on this property that you haven't even seen yet, Karma.''
''I-in my defense.'' I stammered as we approached the building. Twigs snapped under my sneakers as I carefully maneuvered my way around a fresh mud puddle. ''There are so many rooms in the house that I don't even know about yet.''
Yes, I did spend the majority of my time here when he first brought the house. Even then, I was alternating between the penthouse and traveling back here from the city. I didn't have that much time to explore.
And just when everything was settling down for me, I was whisked away to Paris for a week.
'' Plus,'' I sigh as he fishes the key out of his gym shorts. '' If I explore this house and property on my own, I will be lost for hours.'' As he fiddles with the keyring, my eyes drift down his body as I rock on my heels, patiently waiting for him to open the door. Chewing on the inside of my cheek, I stepped forward as he unlocked the door.
'' I think that you should give your fiancée a tour of her new home.''
Alessio moves to the side, allowing me to step into the gym first. '' I'll give my fiancée more than a tour of her new home.'' He mutters, smacking my ass harshly as he walks in after me, closing the door behind him.
Walking further into the building, I realized that the lights were already on. Walking across the property, I could hardly see the inside of the building, thinking that it was dark inside. '' You can see out, but you can't see in.'' Alessio notices the look of curiosity on my face as I stare out of the window.
Rich people shit.
Alessio's hand comes into contact with my back as he leads me to the center of the room. A square-shaped platform boxing ring sat in the middle of the room. '' We'll start with where you are in the sparing department,'' he says, holding the rope up for me to duck under.
Watching the girls spare each other was intense.
They didn't hold back on each other when it was one on one. They were ruthless with each other, drawing blood, pulling hair, bruising ribs. And they took the defeat in stride when they exited the ring.
For Sienna, Natalia, and the twins, it was a birthright.
They were born for this lifestyle, trained for it for years.
It seemed as if the fighting, the training, it all came naturally to all of them.
They had the speed, agility, strength, and control behind them.
