Today was the day.

The day this lovely planet that we call earth loses one less scumbag of a man. Elliot Collins would be no longer and I would finally be at peace.

Alessio and I could finally focus on ourselves and start our future together with no interruptions or restless ex-partners trying to destroy everything that we fought so hard to salvage.

I straightened up from zipping my black knee-high heels up when a hand gripped my neck and slid under my chin, gripping my jaw as his thumb brushed against my bottom lip. My lips quirked up as he pulled my head to rest against his lower abs.

Our eyes connected as he stared down at me looking dangerously beautiful in a black fitted shirt and cargo pants. His own lips were lifted slightly at the corners, slowly morphing into a full-blown grin as I took his thumb between my lips.

" Have I told you how sexy are in black?" Alessio hisses as I bite the pad of his thumb.

" Maybe once or twice."

He grins as he removes his hands from my neck and walks in front of me. I take his awaiting hands, accepting his offer to help me up from the bench in our closet. His hands cascade down my body, smoothing out the dress for me as I now stand almost nose to nose with him.

I pecked his lips, giggling as I was now able to kiss him without the help of standing on the tips of my toes.

Alessio smiled in return as he held up his hand. My eyes darted towards the brand new YSL lipstick tube that he held in his hands.

" For me?" I snatched the tube from him excitedly, making my way towards the mirror with some extra pep in my step. Alessio chuckled as I stopped in front of the mirror and opened the tube.

I loved new lipsticks... especially red.

I swiped the fresh tube of lipstick over my lips before pressing them together to spread the product."Perfect," I smiled as the look was now tied together.

Killer black dress— check.

Killer black knee-high boots— check.

Killer sharp linear— check.

A bold red lip— check.

A slicked-back bun— check.

And a killer fiancé — checkity fuckin' check.

" Let's go kill my ex-fiancé now," I clasped my hands in front of me as I took a step towards the better fiancé, the better man.

Alessio simply grips my chin, keeping me from moving a step past him. I frown at the iron grip he has on my body until he pecks my lips. " Kiss test," he shows me a grin before hooking his arm around my neck.

My eyes rolled playfully on their own accord as we walked out of our closet. I grabbed my phone and a pair of sunglasses that lay on the bed before walking out of the door.
