Juliette, Monet, and I had spent the majority of the week together.

Every venue that I saw for a potential business didn't speak to me. None of them felt like a place that I could call home or grow in.

Juliette felt the same too.

" It's kind of hard finding restaurants in need of a chef," Juliette lowers her shades as she places her lemonade down onto the table. She grabbed the handheld fan and flicked it open, fanning herself.

Monet mimics her, wearing a mini version of Juliette's outfit.

I smiled as I watched the two, wishing for a mini me to call my own one day.

" Are you interested in a temp job while you look?" I asked, the idea of asking her to come and help me brewing in the back of my mind.

" I'm up for anything," she chuckles warily, tossing her blonde curls to the side as the waiter comes out with our food.

Today we were eating Italian...

Big shocker.

" Would you like to help me start up the company until you find something..." Juliette perks up at my offer before I even finish.

" Mon dieu," she reaches over and gives me a great duo hug, a broad smile on her face as I return it, laughing as she rambles in french.

— My God.

" I would love to, Karma," she presses her palms against her cheeks that are red from the smile that doesn't seem to be to want to leave her face.

" I feel like such a burden to Jagger having him take all of this time off to be at home with me and Monet." A frown quickly replaces my smile as I reach out and grab her hand.

Juliette was such a sweetheart and clearly put everyone before herself.

I wondered if this was the first time she'd ever done something like this— put herself first and did something spontaneous.

Juliette and Jagger had a love that was rare.

They'd only been together for a few short months, despite that, you could see that the love that they shared for each other was pure and genuine.

It was the type of love at first sights that you saw in the movies and only hoped to experience it in real life.

Some would frown upon it seeing as Juliette had just barely turned twenty and Jagger was twenty-seven.It was a seven year difference but Juliette was a big girl and she made her own decisions.

Hell, she had to grow up long before she was supposed to due to raising and taking care of her sister from a young age.

" You are not a burden to him at all," I say, ready to soothe her worries. " Alessio says that he spends the entirety of the day watching the clock, practically counting down the minutes until he gets home to you."
