State tests are tomorrow and I hope I'll do well. My teacher believes I can get 100...haha, no. But no homework for two weeks! Woohoo! Anyways, there will be a new p.o.v. in this chapter so...
•••Newt's Point of View•••
"We'll talk later?" Teresa asks.
Rose smiles, "Of course."
Teresa jogs away and Rose turns to me.
"So, um, what's up?" I ask. Shuck. I could never keep my bloody mind straight when I was around this girl.
"Well, if you didn't know, I just got shot in the shoulder." She says with a laugh.
"Yeah...but you never got lunch. Want to make a sandwich to my place?" I offer. Please say yes, please say yes.
"Sounds great!" She exclaims. "I'm starving."
"Let's go then, shall we?"
Rose laughs again and hops of the bed she was laying on.
"We shall. Thank you, kind sir." She says, trying to imitate my accent.
Once we get into my house, Rose goes and sits down on the couch.
"What kind of sandwich do you want? I think there's ham, lettuce, pickles, cheese, turkey..."
"Can I have lettuce, cheese, ham, and pickles?"
"Of course." I say and head to make her sandwich. When I'm done making hers, I start making mine-turkey, cheese, and lettuce.
"Here." I say and hand Rose the sandwich.
"Thanks." She says and bites into the sandwich. "Mmmm, delicious!"
"No problem. Glad you like it."
"Do you know if there're any movies in this place?"
"Oh, yeah," I say. "There's The Day After Tomorrow, all of the Star Wars movies, and a couple others."
"That's fine. Is The Day After Tomorrow okay?"
"Perfect." I say and put the movie in. It starts to play and Rose leans her head on my shoulder.
"Thanks."She says.
"For what?" I ask.
"Everything."
I added in the movie The Day After Tomorrow because it's one of my favorite movies to watch on snow days when it's all stormy like in the movie. If you like "it's the end of the world!" movies then you should definitely watch it! Love you guys!
